Wheezing and coughing

I need help with my 4 yr old son. Over the last month he has developed wheeziness and cough. It seems like his throat get easily inflamed making it difficult to breathe normal.
He is more prone to this when is it dry, windy, or warm. We did not have this problem during winter.
The cough can start from a cold draft, post nasal drip, or just a coughing fit. He will then stiffen his upper body and breathe with his upper chest. Air seems to collect in his stomach making him uncomfortable until he can relax release it with a burp. At night he will be fine when going to bed and then a hour or two later, cough in his sleep and wheezing starts. Some nights a small drink helps. If it doesn't he will get so wheezy its like a whistle, laboring for every breath. Also after he gets wheezy, he can't lay down without getting worse with coughing fits, crying, and very labored breathing.

We thought that he might have asthma, but after a line-up of symptoms and causes, we don't think so. On some days he can run around indoors at top speed and have no wheeziness. On others drier days, or extreme windy days, he will be wheezy from lightly running around indoors. Also he didn't have this wheeziness problem until the first part of April when spring was staring to develop.

I would like to know what I can do for the wheeziness. Also is there something we can give him to help him relax and breathe easier. We have been giving him pseudo-ephedrine to help with the outdoor environment allergies with cause a clear discharge from his nose. I don't think Claritan helps, his nose still runs. Antihistamines like Benedryl help sometimes.

Please explain in detail the formula we need. I would love to get him some relief so he can sleep at night.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
please give him KALI SULPH 12C every 3 to 4 hours during the episodes.

once you observe that this remedy is creating a response, you can give 30c one or two doses during the next episodes.

gradually, the tendency will reduce and finally stop.

report after a month.
