My 9 yr old has developed red, wrinkled skin under eyes
Please help. My 9 yr old daughter for the past couple of months has had puffiness under eyes, and red, wrinkled skin as a result. Have tried Claritin, and eczema ointment, with no results. It is an allergy, for sure, but the puffiness does not subside. I believe Homeopathy can helpsaloni1 on 2008-05-27

No. No family history of this, though her dad, only in the past 2 years developed an allergy to pollen - his symptoms are sneezing, and watery eyes.

Check to see if she is mouth or nose breathing during sleep. Breathing in the nose is the best. It uses muscles around the nose and eyes decreasing the pooling of fluids under the eyes.
If she is mouth breath check for blockage / swelling in the nose? Just look up
her nose with a flashlight. Bright red, pink or pale?
If more than 1 person in the same living
quarters comes down with allergies consider looking for leaks in the home
environment. Leaking water always encourages mold growth.
