Infant-Asthma (Asthmatic Bronchiolitis)

My 8 month old son is suffering from infant-Asthma (Asthmatic Bronchiolitis)

It started with an RSV infection, when he was 4 month old. Since then, everytime he gets a cold, it end up in cough, rattling of the chest when breathing and then wheezing.

His wheezing is worse at night, or early in the morning (3-4 AM)

His doctor is treating him with nebulizer...with Albuterol for the wheezing and has placed him on a 3 month steroid treatment (pulmicort). He even was given a 3 day Predisolone treatment for one of the episodes...in addition to the other 2 products!!!!

Is there a treatment in homeopathy for this?

Should his diet be adjusted? (he was breasfed for 3 month and now on milk based formula)

Thank you so much for your help

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
during the next attack, please give him doses of IPECACUANHA 200C every 2 hours till the wheezing is not reduced.

stop after 4 doses anyway.

repeat the above during next attack. gradually, the frequency of the attack will reduce.

How different is Ipeca from Arsenicum album in such a case?

Does it matter is for the moment he no longer coughs but just wheezes?

Do I need to just treat the episode or should I also give him a longer term background treatment when he is better

Thank you so so much

ipec is especially good for children when the wheezing is worse at night.

its best for wheezes when there is no cough.

please treat the episodes and gradually the suffering will become less intense and less frequent.

once the vitality of the child increases, he will get cured.
