Need help with Pilonidal Cyst
Ever since I was a child, I have always feared regular doctors. It seems like they don't care about you, rather how much they can make from you. I have seen so many of my family members be misdiagnosed and some have unfortunately passed away because of an ignorant doctor. After reading some posts on this website, I am given hope. It seems some of the doctors here really know what they are doing.I have just been diagnosed with PCOS 1 1/2 months ago. Just about 5 days ago I started forming a large cyst in the crease of my buttocks (near the left cheek). It has been extremely painful, I have not been able to sit because of the pain. After a few days of severe pressure and pain, the cyst burst. It first formed a blister like head filled with water (as if I were burned) and then it popped. Ever since there has been lots of discharge. It is sort of white/yellow with some blood. As soon as I noticed the cyst, I took Zinc. I have been dressing it with antibiotic cream.
I saw some of the posts about pilonidal cysts and I was confused as to what homeopathic remidies would be right for me.
I would appreciate help with the pilonidal cyst and PCOS.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
At this stage of developement of the cyst, I strongly suggest a dose of ECHINACEA. Get what is available in potency. While getting the Echin. get some Ledum and Silicea if you can afford.
Remember, this is homeopathic Echinacea, some people do not know it exists. Not the Echin. herbal liquid over counter. Probably get all at this ABC forum.
Echin. will insure better healing. I would have gone a different route except for the progress and bursting of the cyst. Keep a tuck of non-stick pads between buttocks to keep skin from rubbing. Do not put anything on it. Echinacea will take care of it.
Be very careful with bathroom habits. Wash hands often. Bathe often. Use fresh towel each shower. (Shower, not tub.) Tub may contain some germs. Towel may carry germs after drying. Clean undies each day.
We need to follow it's developments. Blessings Sabra

Thank you for the information. I will order these items right now. There are two types of Enchinacea that come up: Anugstifolia and Purpurea. Which one do I get and what dosage and in what form (pellet, liquid or tincture). What dosages and types of Ledum and Silicia should I get?
I have been very particular about keeping the area clean. I wash with an antibacterial soap every time I change the dressing.

My Echinacea says Rudbeckia, but the common name is "Purple corn flower", this will help. Often some are the same and the company uses diff names.
Usually no one can find the potency they want and there is most often only one choice. So 200X or 1M for all. If you can get the tiny granules called # 10 this would be good as it gives you more remedy. Liquid is fine except not much for your money. If big pellets, take 3 as one dose. If tiny take 5 or 6 as a dose. Really no need to count, just to keep people from wasting it.
With homeopathy, take as little as possible and stop when improvement shows.
Tincture refers to the remedy. Unless they mean Mother tincture, and you will not want that.

I ordered the Enchinacea and some other items, I have not gotten anything in the mail yet. As of today there is a lot of drainage. I am changing my gauge about every hour. The pain has gone away, the pressure is definately gone. A few days ago I had some swelling on a lymph node on my neck. After the swelling stopped, there was LOTS of discharge.
What are the steps to insure that this cyst will not form again. From reading many stories about people with pilonial cysts, I have gathered that most people have reoccuring cysts quite often. It is very painful and I dont want to keep having these cysts. I am 25 and this is the first time I have gotten one.
Also, if anyone has information on polycystic ovarian syndrome or more commonlly called PCOS...I would really appreciate the homeopathic view on this disorder.
