Success with Zinc for Varicose-stop now?
My circulation has always been terrible. Exrtremely cold hands and feet, and varicose veins developing in 30s. I self prescribed Zincum Metallicum 30c, for a few days 3 times a day. It appears that the veins have receded!!! Pain and pressure gone! But, not completely normal either. Do I stop now or try to see more improvement and keep going?cassandralinnea on 2008-06-14

thank you for your advice. since there were not specifics I will go back on zinc for a few days then try merc. sulph., then see. I know I should consult a pro. locally.
But, amazing results. of course outside of homeopathy they are 'incurable'!

If you are seeing so much improvement, you must stop and wait till the improvement reaches a plateau.
Only after the improvement has come to a complete halt, then take a single 200C dose.
But do not take any more medicine right now.
There us no need of going to Merc Sol at all.

Thank you, I will take the opinions into consideration. One advantage of taking a break would be to move onto Sililca 30c as a potential treatment for chronic-23 years-acne. W/ very greasy skin, big pustules, blackhads,face, back, chest. It is if every pore is clogged with sebum. And I can't help squeezing it out-it feels so dirty, contaminating my face. Scarring.The only solution has ever been birth control pills, and I just quit those because of the obvious health reasons, thank you again!

is taking a remedy based on very few indications.
Skin symptoms are the least important of all, and anyways without taking into account the basic temperament of the person, his desires/aversions, his peculiar symptoms and possible causation in a case (if any), the treatment is bound to fail.
We never give remedies based on the chief complaint alone. The right remedy is always for a PERSON, and you will see improvement simultaneously on a lot of fronts with the correct medicine.
This is not to say that one remedy will solve all your problems, but we continue to be on 1 remedy (in a 'repeating a higher potency if needed' mode) , till the body has fully responded to it, and it ceases to be of further benefit.
After that the next remedy layer usually comes up and the same process is repeated. But once again the remedy has to be picked based on the totality and not on solitary symptoms.

If you not get further improvement after using zincum met 30c you can use 200c of the same medicine 1 dosage after an interval of 3days and look after improvement using 3 dosage of zincum met if you not get any improvement you can use its 1M making a gap of 10 days and try 3 dosages in a month.I hope your problem will subside.Thanks,malaker
