Infant Constipation

My 9 month old boy has got constipation for last few days and yesterday while passing stool after 2 days, he passed very small and very hard stool only and cramped a lot and then did not pass any stool.
Please advice some good homeopathic medicine for instant relief from constipation.

Describe boy's behaviour during the process?

Is he formula fed?

Is stool coming and receding?

How is the stool - like sheep dung, appears burnt, glistening, etc.?

Some more...

Please give him Prune juice and other fruit juices. Prune is very effective.

Do you think your son has no urge or has ineffectual urge?

I had given her Nux Vomica 30C and he passed stool some what easily than day before he could not pass. Next day he passed stool normally. I had also given him the apple juice.

The stool was quite white, heavy and tightly binded.

I think the cause of the constipation was Cheese Slices, because he doesn't drink bottle milk and is only on mother feed and very less fruits and roti. Also, he's about 9 months now and I'm getting less milk now. Thus, I was giving him one cheese slice daily for last few days. Because he happily eats cheese slice.

Can any one suggest me some medicine so that he may start drinking bottle milk. I've tried different bottles, sippers and different flavoured milks. But just after tasting the milk he doesn't drink bottle/sipper milk. Even his father tried a lot to feed him but he did not.

Please help me.

I am not a doctor but I have tried and is confirmed that Nux 30 or 6x works like miracle for such constipation in babies.I also got positive result with my baby who is now 2 yrs old.
Regarding her milk feed, i would suggest from my experience that even f you have less milk, plz continue with that as there is no substitute for that.Till he cries for more and you cannot supply you need not worry.Secondly,if you still feel that he is hungry then try feeding her with a spoon or try adding a little sugar into the powder milk.Babies used to mother's milk sometimes become lazy and they don't want to put in the effort of sucking the plastic nipple which is hard.Just try either of them, I think you should get some result.

I think its a temporary phase of fear prefer to wait for some time.May be it goes as time pass on if persist for next few days then give her three doses of Aconite 3oc with 10 minutes space.
