What does does "q" mean?

For remedy such as sulfuric acid q, what does the q mean?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Q or MT denotes mother tincture. Mother tincture is the initial potentised medicine in homeopathic form from a medicinal substance from which further potencies are produced. It does contain original material substance to an extent.

*unpotentised medicine. In simple words mother tinctures are homeopathic medicines in their most concentrated form.

q means what potency ? is it 30 , 200 or 1M potency ?

It's approximately zero potency. Q is used as source to produce further dilutions and further potencies.

In most medicines Q may not be available due to the material substance. So in place of Q, starting from 1x upto 6x liquid dilutions can be used.

None of those. Another name for Q is Mother
Tincture. It is what the potencies of the
remedy are made out of.
