lac vaccinum, lac coagulatum
While going thru Boerickes's materia medica recently, i came across these remedies lac vaccinum(cow's milk), lac vaccinum defloratum(skimmed milk), etc. I am curious, does this mean plain milk(and milk products) are bad for us? Or are they prepared from a diseased cow?thanking you,
agk.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Even inert substances develop medicinal properties when potentised. That is the beauty of homeopathy. Examples are silica, lycopodium.
Similarly some substances taken as food too develop medicinal properties. It doen't mean they are harmful when consumed in bulk.
Nat.mur (salt) is one such example.
So don't worry about milk being harmful. Few people do react negatively on milk and milk products, but for majority it is a safe, nutritive drink.
