Has an anal Fistula ever gone away completely without surgery

Hi, I was wondering if fistulas do ever go away completely without surgery. My 19 year old son has been taking silicea 30 for the last three weeks and has noticed a great improvement. It has shrunk considerably and feels much more comfortable. It has stopped pussing and has been much drier until yesterday when it was bleeding, but this time much thinner blood. He is seeing the consultant next week to determine if he wishes to proceed with surgery. He has an abscess removed in February which resulted in a fistula forming. I have also been told to take Nitric acid-30c, but haven't mixed it with the silicea 30. What would you suggest as the next course of action should I up the strength of the silicea or take possibly arnica 30 as some others have suggested. I would appreciate any help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
My suggestion would be to let the fistula dry up under the action of silicea 30 completely and once it's dried up, one should use silicea in higher potency---may be in 1M one or 2 doses. (if 2 doses give a gap of a week or two between the doses.)
