severe pms / pmdd

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could suggest a remedy for severe PMS / PMDD.

I am a female, age 35, 130 lbs. No major health problems except for the occasional stomach grumbling.

I have been experiencing this extreme PMS for about 1.5 years. I am currently taking Sepia for another issue. Not sure if I can take two remedies at the same time.

I am open to suggestions.

Thanks

Fam

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
please describe all your sufferings.

if you are taking sepia for some ailment, its not advisable to take another remedy.

all your problems need to be looked at all together.

Thank you for your reply.

I am taking Sepia for a social anxiety issue, I find myself a little nervous & at a loss for words in social situations, the nervousness does not come from other people. I love being around people and being out at social functions. The nervousness comes when I try to recall something and have a terrible time at doing it. My mind just goes blank! This brain fog has made me retreat from socializing (which I love to do).

I also have, it seems, severe PMS. I get so very sensitive right before my period, extremely sensitive and obsess for days at a time over small issues, and become very insecure. When my period starts, I'm back to my normal confident self.

These are my major issues, if I could find a way to deal with the brain fog & emotional sensitivity (before my period) I would be a much happier person.

Thanks,

Fam

you probably dont need sepia now.

the way you are describing your mentals, it seems to me that sepia is not the right remedy for now.

is it actually helping you?

in case you need to take one remedy for all your mental and physical problems, you need to fill up my questionnaire.

if its ok with you, i will post a questionnaire for you.

Yes,

Please submit your questionaire. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

can you exactly describe the sensation in your belly when its at its worst.

rishimba last decade
When my period is heavy I have sharp pains in my lower abdomen (cramps). At other times on my period, my cramps are more like a dull ache.

sweetfam last decade
please stop sepia as i feel this is not indicated in your case.

please take LYCOPODIUM 30C every 4 hours before and during your next periods.

start the doses whenever you feel the mental and physical sufferings.

you can take them for 2 to 3 days and then stop.

whenever you experience brain fog in social situations, please take LYCOPODIUM 1M two doses at 15 minutes interval only once.

lets have your feedback after a month on your periods and your mentals.

rishimba last decade
Hi,

Thank you kindly for the recommendation.

I have a question for you. I took my first dose of Lycopodium 30C around 4 hours ago. I feel a sense of calmness, different than usual. Is this normal for Lycopodium?

Fam

sweetfam last decade
so you got the remedy !!!

when a remedy brings calmness of mind and good sleep, this means that its going to respond well to your physical sufferings as well.

if its already responded, you ned not take another dose untill this effect wears out.

Blessed Rishimba,

Yes, I acquired the remedy first thing! I am a very serious (and good) patient. Both my parents are in medicine so I understand the value of a health practitioner!

I am happy to hear that I am having the correct response to the remedy.

I'll be in touch in another 7 days to share what my week has been like since starting on my remedy.

All the best,

Fam

Rishimba,

One more question. I have experienced relief from my PMS, a sense of calmness, happiness (content with life). When do you think I will see results regarding the brain fog? My words are still not coming to me when I am nervous (I have only been taking the 30C dosage) or they come out jumbled.

This 'brain fog' has plagued me and is the only thing that can bring my self-esteem down.

Thank you for your help.

Fam

please have patience...

i feel this brain fog will also be taken care by some other remedy if not by lycopodium.

most of your symptoms matched lycopodium and thus this was suggested.

in case, even after a dose set of LYCOPODIUM 1M you dont find any relief in your brain fog, we will work it out with some other remedy.

rishimba last decade
I will definitely try to exercise patience. I still feel that sense of calmness and contentment with life.

The brain fog is still here and since I have been taking the Lyc, I have awakened in the middle of the night (every night; Insomnia). Please tell me what's going on...

I would also like to hear from Dr. Tahira too.

Thank you,

fam

sweetfam last decade
how many doses of 30c have you taken.

please stop the doses now as you are starting to get some other new symptoms.

wait till the healing goes on in you and then if the brain fog continues, you can take a dose of 1m.

rishimba last decade
did you have your periods after taking the remedy.

i had suggested to take the remedy during and before the periods when the symptoms are worst.

rishimba last decade
Rishimba,

The PMS has subsided since I last wrote but the waking in the middle of the night just ended. (Due to me getting exasporated and opting to take Nux Vomica). Since taking the Nux Vomica, I have been able to sleep through the night. The 'Brain fog' has improved a little bit but only after starting the Nux Vomica.

A while ago, I was told that Lycopodium was my constitutional remedy, but I have not found this remedy to be helpful for anything, accept as a mood enhancer.

Any other suggestions?
