water retention under left eye
Hello All,Today when I woke up from sleep in the morning, my left eye felt little heavy. And when I went to bathroom to see it, I could hardly see my eye open...it looked as if it was closed. There is water under & over my eye. It feels little ithcy too under the eyes. Right eye seems to be perfectly fine.
Its not red or anything...just water retention. I have had this earlier too, but under both the eyes & specially when I had allergies & bad congestion.
This time around, I dont have congestion & its just left eye. It might be allergies but I dont see any other signs of allergy anywhere. I had cold a week ago and am sure if its after-effect.
Please let me know what to do. Its looking ugly. Someone even commented that they thought I was winking at them.

try swabbing the eye with cotton dipped in cold water.If there is relief from the itching try Apis 30c three doses within one hour.

Hello Gavin,
I took Apis 30c y'day at night. As u said 3 doses within an hour. Today the water portion from above my eye (below the eyebrows) is gone and my eye does look open. But the water under my eye is still there, and that part is turned dark purplish. Should I take the doese today too?

Yes. You can take three more doses with a gap of two hours between each.
If the problem is not fully resolved by next day we may have to up the potency. Procure Apis 200c and keep it handy.
Is there any pain? How is the itch now?

I actually did not take any dose y'day. When I went home the water portion was kinda gone. The part where water was retained is still dark purplish, but there is no water as such. I am guessing the purplishness will also disappear in a day or two rt?
