My 2 1/2 year old with asthma, allergies,a dn eczema has been on Medorrhinum for over a year, as directed by her homeopath. Is this typical? Is she on this too long?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes, this is way too long and extremely dangerous.

Medhorrhinum is the ant-sycotic nosode (an extremely deep acting remedy by the way!!) which is normally given to move the case along under the following circumstances:

1) When well selected remedies fail

2) When there is no totality pointing to a particular anti-sycotic remedy, but there are many indications for the sycotic miasm

The combination of asthma, allergies and eczema normally points to a tubercular miasm, unless in some inherited cases where it can even occur in sycosis, and this situation is very rare.

No remedy needs to taken for an year unless very scarcely repeated and least of all Medorrhinum. It is best given as a remedy to 'move the case along' .

These are energy medicines which give a magnetic impulse to the body and it is the response to the medicine which cures, and hence long repetitions are not needed.
