help for weightloss please. desperate

Hi there, I am about 2 1/2 stone overweight. Two years ago I lost all this weight but have now put it back on which is causing me to be depressed. Do I need to cure the depression or lose the weight to lose the depression? I would welcome any remedies which can help me with my weightloss. I need focus and determination.

46 years old
Married
two grown children one at Uni and one working away.
Work full time (usually around 39 hrs per week)

I used to go to the gym 3- 4 times weekly but as weight loss slowed and stopped going for over 12 months. I have a treadmill at home which I go on occasionally, when I used to go on it daily. It was quite addictive.
Two years ago I lost 3 stones in weight and although I was very happy, I felt I had not achieved the weight watchers desired goal. As said previously, my weight loss has stopped and although I was virtually starving myself, no more weight would come off. I became dis-heartened.

I tend to be either very happy or very sad. Prior to my period I become very moody and weepy. I seem to lose all sense of rationale.
I am a very conscientious individual at work. I dislike dishonesty. I like to be treated fairly.

I have a very loving husband who is tollerating my moods at the moment. But if they continue I`m not sure I`ll see my silver weddding in October!!!! My hormone test was inconclusive, although my GP has indicated I am started with symptoms of menopause. My periods are every 25 days, and I will have one very heavy and painful day, and the rest is quite light.

I am desperate to lose weight as I know this will improve my mood and my confidence. I am looking to further my career, but with my present state of mind and weight problem I am not sure I can take the stress.

Please let me know if you need to know anything else.

Other/past medical history
Varicose Veins - removal and injections several years ago.
Stress and Panic attacks very severe 20 years ago, but can now recognise the symptoms and deal with them.

Interestingly I have been reading an article on Kali Carb and Lycopodium and recognise many symptoms in me to match these remedies. However, I am not 100% confident they are the right remedies, and the article on Kali car was quite scary in its results. I would welcome you opinions.

Hi Dr - I really would like to go out and purchase the remedies this morning. I understand you are very busy and after reading a lot of the postings on this website, I find that many people have benfitted from Nat Phos. SHould I try this.
I get really confused with the remedies - the closest I have found to all my symptoms and personal attributes are lycopodiu, kali carb and nat mur.
I would appreciate some urgent guidance on how best to move forward.
