Chest tightness for 10 years

Hello,

I have been suffering from tight chest and pressure in the head for the last 10 years.

I get this tightness and pressure immediately after eating or drinking anything. Because it has been happening for so many years, I have the tightness for all most 24/7/365.

My heart was tested but cardiac problems were ruled out.

Food allergy tests were also negative.

GI thinks that I have acid reflux. I recently had upper endoscopy and everything looked ok. I am still waiting for biopsy results. My doc asked me to try Zantac, Prilosec, Pantoprazole Sod but nothing gave me even the slightest relief. I also tried baking soda, apple cider vinegar, TUMS but they didn't help either.

I don't know what to do. I don't know why my doc thinks it is acid reflux. Other than chest tightness and pressure in the head I do not have other typical symptoms of acid reflux. Also the acid reflux medication is not giving any relief and upper endoscopy didn't give any indications of acidity.

But my immediate problem is to find some solution that can atleast give me temporary relief. I am literally not able to do anything in life because of this chronic and irritating tightness.

Can anybody please give some advice? Thank you.

Hi, thank you for your reply. Please find my answers

I am 35 yrs old male

1.Immediately after eating
or drinking anything, within minutes, I will have chest tightness and feel pressure in the head. It has been happening for so many years. So now this chest tightness and head pressure are there all the time, without even 10 minutes break.

2.Nothing else

3.Immediately after eating food or drinking anything, I will have lot of anxiety and restlessness. This will usually last for few minutes or hours based on the food (worst with hot and spicy foods)

4.The chest tightness and the head pressure get so annoying that I feel like taking a knife and
cut the heart and brain out of my body (I don't seriously think about it though, it is just so frustrating.) I also become very impatient and intolerant of other people. Even a normal incident
will irritate me.

5.I think it has been there since my childhood. But for the last 10 years I paid atention to this (before that I was thinking that the chest tightness happened with everyone). Within the last one year I realized that it was happening because of food.

6.Anytime of the day or night, after I have food

7.Other than food nothing else gives me these symptoms

8.No just food. If I stop eating food I observe that these symptoms pretty much disappear.

9.Weather really does not have any impact.

10.I am moody, easily irritated, always frustrated and all that. But at the same time this is not me. As I said if I do fasting I become a very calm and relaxed person. As soon as I resume eating, I will become that anxious person.

Thunderstorms - I enjoy. I enjoy any wonder of the nature
Tough times - No. I can talk myself out of any tough time
External stimuli - I am not sensitive
No habits like nail biting, weeping etc. When I am suffering physically with these symptoms, I talk to myself. I tell that there will be some cure
Family, friends, spouse are all supportive. Though they are not able to suggest any specific solution, they encourage me.

11. Sometimes I fear that, like some mysterious diseases, I will never be able to solve my health problem. Especially my doctors don't get a clue and just spend time with routine medical tests.

12. I love both sweets and hot and spicy food. It is ironic but in general I love food.

13. My thirst is very less. I need to remind myself to drink some water.

14.My hunger is normal.

15.I do not have any specific food that I do not like. But my symptoms get worse with hot and spicy food.

16.I sweat less. Even after exercise, I do not sweat a lot. May be head sweats more.

17. Bowel movement is once per day and it is usually normal

18.My sleep is not very good. Even in the sleep I experience this tightness

19. yes

20. Other than this chest tightness and head pressure I do not have any other sensations. But these symptoms are there all the times, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and 365 days an year. I am not able to find even temporary relief other than fasting

21.I triend TUMS,Zantac,Prilosec, Pantoprazole Sod. I developed constipation with all of these medications but my actual symptoms didn't get any relief

22. Diabetes, high blood pressure

23. I am skinny but generally healthy looking person.

24. Does not apply

Please let me know if these answers give any clue. I thank you again for your help

please start treatment with NUX VOM 30C three times a day for some days. continue for a week maximum.

but, as soon as you note a change, you can reduce to two times a day.

please report after 10 days for a follow up remedy if required.

It happened so that we already have Nux Vom 30c in our house. Looks like we got it for my son for some reason.

I can start with them.

Should I take one pill in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the night? Should it be taken with food or before/after the food?

Thank you.
