Most effective way to give remedies??

Hi all. I am doing homeopathic remedies with my son who has autism. Our homeopath recommended sulfur and thuja, not at the same time. Anyway, at first she told me that I should dissolve the pellets in 4 ounces of water, stir vigorously, and then give 1 tsp for 3 doses. She said that putting them in water makes them more effective. Anyway, so I did it that way. But then she said I should give the pellets directly instead, probably just to see if the effect was any different. So, what I am wondering is which way is more effective? I cant say that I have seen much change in my son since we gave the sulfur about 3 weeks ago. Maybe a few minor things, but nothing really noticeable. Anyway, I just wanted to get some opinions on the best way to give these remedies so that they will work best. Thanks all for your help!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The water dose is milder and the dry one is comparatively stronger.

Your homeopath might have suggested the dry dose since the water dose was not effective enough.

Nothing wrong with that. Stick to your homeopath atlest for 6 months before assessing her.

I am also wondering if these remedies might not be as effective since they are only 30C...

Do not under-estimate the power of 30c, it is more than enough in MOST cases to kick start a curative action.

In any case, most homeopaths will never start above 30c or 200c, as there are 2 things under question:

a) sensitivity of the patient, which cannot be determined before a remedy has been given

b) you can never be sure of the choice of the similimum as well

He is correct in starting with 30c.

Also, I dont think I can get my son to take the pellets dry. I tried putting them on a spoon and he just wouldnt take them.. Then he just knocked them off the spoon, and touched them so they wouldnt have been any good anyway :(

If three 1 teaspoon doses of a potency didn't show any reaction whatsoever, even the dry dose is highly unlikely to do anything. You need to check with your homeopath, as to why she thinks the same potency would evoke a reaction when given dry. The water dose touches more nerve endings, and is in no way less penetrating than the dry dose.

Going by her long waiting of 3 weeks after the Sulphur doses, she does sound like a classical homeopath. Just be careful about not repeating the same potency too many times and stick with her.

The founder always gave all remedies including Cs and LMs in water always during his later years practicing in Paris. He abandoned the dry dose alltogether, and always gave all doses in water.
