Help for my son

Hi, some advice needed please.
My son is 5 years old and has been swimming for a couple of years really well. He has been having lessons and we have never had a problme. Until now, he has changed class and is refusing to get into the water, but he is hysterical and makes no sense at all. He says in the days coming up that he wants to go, but when we get there it all changes. We are sure its a confidence thing, new people, new teacher etc etc. I wondered if there is a remedy I can give him before he goes to chill him and give him a little confidence.
