I was given LM potency Nux Vomica. Caused an aggaravation. Will the aggravations go away, if yes, when. My homeopath is on vacation.
How do I antidote it. Will inhaling camphor do it.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What you should evaluate is what kind of aggravation you had, if it was a similar one (same symptoms but worse) then it will go away, but if it's appearance of new symptoms that's really bad and means that this is not the right remedy for you.

In theory LM should not aggravate in most of the times, but if it did is because it was too large a dose, or to high of a potency. You could fix that with less succussions or more dilution glasses or smaller doses for example 1 teaspoon instead of 2.

Hi Raphael,

Thanks for the reply. My symptoms are all new. I was given Nux LM for my gastritis and pain due to gastritis. The first few days of taking the remedy (diluted in 3 cups and 5 succussions) helped me. Howevere I noticed some heavy breathing during my 6th dose but continued as per homeopath (every 2 days).

Now my gastritis pain is still there (mild though) and I have heay breathing, wking up at 3:00am with stuffed nose and breathlessness. er difficult to breathe sometimes after food.

Do I need to antidote or should I wait? I feel somebody is holding my throat all the time. Its a weird feeling. Why do I hae all new problems now? So this was not the right remedy?

It's tricky if I give a straight answer because you got benefit from it at the beginning, but I'd say that is more likely to not to be the right remedy.

If these new symptoms still didn't go away and it's been awhile since you stopped the remedy, then you can try to antidote with the same remedy but ONLY in 1 attempt:

Give it only 1 succussion. Then pour half teaspoon from the stock bottle in 4oz dilution glass. Stir very gently. Take it half teaspoon from this first dilution glass.

That should work, in case it doesn't please do not try to antidote anymore just wait and I'd suggest you to inquire your homeopath.

Whenever you're taking LM or even C in medicinal solution keep in mind that the number of succussions matters a lot, that's what changes the strength of the dose. To succussion 1 time instead of 2 can make a huge difference.
