7 Month Old With Asthma After Eczema Subsided

I have a 7 month old who just had his first asthma attack yesterday. He has had eczema for a while, I changed soap and started treating his skin with a natural lotion. The eczema got better, but yesterday he started wheazing, his chest was very tight and his nose was running (yellowish discharge). His eyes were all matted with yellow discharge and the white part of the eye was pink. I steamed the bathroom to help his breathing and clear his nose and gave him Native Remedy's Triple Complex Bronchosoothe about 4 times within an hour. He slept through the rest of the night and was better in the morning. No discharge in his eyes, but still a runny nose (clear) and congested chest. What should I give him to treat this asthma and eczema and not make it worst? I have a 2 1/2 who had the same history and just recently had an asthma attack. Dr. Rishimba suggested phosphorus for my 2 1/2, would the same medicine be safe and effective for my 7 month old? My 7 month old has a very sweet and calm personality. He likes being held by others and always has a smile in his face. Thanks for your help!

Hi,

In homeopathy, every case is different , and the case will have to taken from the start to arrive to the correct medicine.

Tell me more about the child, is he very sensitive to pain, and needs a lot of physical contact/affection ? How is his thirst/appetite ? Any other odd traits you might have noticed ?

And, never every apply ointments/lotions on skin eruptions as this causes suppression and later on deeper disorders result like the asthma in this case.

He has a very high pain tolerance, and does not need a lot of physical contact/affection. He has great appetite and enjoys drinking water, although he is still 99% nursed. I started giving him some organic vegetables per Dr.'s instructions, but it constipated him so badly that I figured he was not ready for it yet. He is currently teething. The eczema is aggravated by sweat. I just noticed a patch of light eczema on my arm. He has olive skin and brown hair with a few blonde streaks through it.

Is organic soap ok to wash his skin with?

Thank you for taking time to help!

In such a young infant, one has to extremely careful while prescribing homeopathic remedies, especially online. Also, be careful while prescribing combination remedies, as they can do a lot more harm than benefit.

Organic soap should be ok.

The information you gave is still not enough to zero in to a remedy, tell me something more about him. Is he clingy ? How is his sleep pattern ? Any thing which aggravates him ? Anything which ameliorates him or makes him happy ?

He does not usually sleep through the night. He usually goes to bed at 7:00 p.m. and wakes up at 1:00 a.m. and than at 5:00 a.m. to nurse. He does not like people touching him while he is asleep, that is the only thing I know of that bothers him. He is generally always happy. He is only clingy when sleepy. His favorite thing is to play tickling games, that's when we get the biggest belly laughs. I hope that helps.

Give him just 3 doses of Pulsatilla 6c at 2 hour gap.

Dissolve 2 pellets in 250 ml spring water, and 1/2 teaspoon from here is 1 dose.

Report in 5 days after the 3 doses.

He still has clear discharge from his nose and a cough. It gets worst at night at about 1:00. The symptoms did improve greatly with Pulsadilla 6c but did not take it away completely. When I tried the water solution as prescribed it did not work well, it made the symptoms come back.

You should not have given more than 3 doses, the instructions were to give 3 water doses in total. You gave too many doses of the same potency , I clearly said to report back after THREE doses. The instructions above were absolutely clear.

Now, give just 1 dose of Pulsatilla 30c, where the dose means 1/2 teaspoon from a bottle of spring water where 2 pellets have been dissolved.

This should clear up the symptoms.

I stress once the again, the 30c dose above is not to be repeated at all.
