Treatment for my dog
My Jack Russell trerrier has a fear-agression problem that leads to fights with a second dog in the house. My vet has suggested using a homeopathic approach. Does anyone have experience with this type situation?TBoneDon on 2008-10-13

That behavior is typical of a rabies vaccinosis. If so, it will only improve with something like homeopathy, and you must never vaccinate again. (You shouldn't anyway, because it leads to behavioral problems like this. Hopefully your vet understands and will support you on this.)
Did your vet have something in mind? The two most commonly given remedies for vaccinosis are thuja and lyssin. Thuja really isn't for rabies and shouldn't be given unless it is very clear that it matches the symptoms. Lyssin is rabies and *may* be appropriate. There is a rabies miasm and other remedies associated with it, like Belladonna. If your vet recommends a particular remedy, make sure he has reasons that are based on your dog's specific symptoms, not simply that it is a vaccinosis.

Daisy,
Thanks for the comment on rabies vaccinosis. I am struck by how well my dog's behaviors match symptoms listed on numerous websites including unusual behaviors such as clinginess, eats twigs/leaves, loves swimming, etc.
I have found references to using lyssin at the time of rabies boosters; my state requires boosters every 3 years. Are there remedies that can be used between boosters?

Ideally the remedy is chosen based on the symptoms. Some give lyssin immediately after the rabies vaccine in the hope it will counter any effects but it may not be the right remedy.
Find out exactly what the law is in your state. There may be an exemption, especially for a sick animal. Your vet might be willing to sign something for you. However, don't assume you have no legal choice, ... or that your vet fully understands the legal options.
The form of vaccination certificate is available on the internet. So is the rabies vaccine (depending on what state you're in), although you probably can't legally give the shot yourself. How you deal with this issue depends why you think you need to vaccinate your dog over and over again.
