Homeaopthy is wonderful

My daughter who is 4 years old is suffering from a very rare type of rickets. She has all the sympotoms of severe rickets like bowed legs, big head, constriction of chest. She had complete alopecia at birth (no eyes brows and eye lashes). After 3 months, eye lashes and some eye brows appeared but no hair on the scalp at all. Still at the age of 4 years she has no hair on the scalp. With in 6 months of age she had signs of florid rickets. Several Vitamin D3 600,000 uints injection were used with 3 weeks intervals without improvement. Then allopathic doctors said that it is Vitamin D Resistant Rickets. Then at 2 years of age it was diagnosed that she is suffering from Vitamin D Dependent Rickets Type II, a very rare disease caused by a hereditary disorder of Vitamin D Receptor. Calcitriol, which is an active form of Vitamin D was started, and was given for one year without much improvement. I also sent her tests to several hospitals in USA but doctors said that it is very rare disease and there is not any specific treatment available.

Then I started looking for alternative modes of treatment. Different homeopathic remedies were tried by different homeopathic doctors like Calc Carb 30/200, Clac Phos 6x/30 for several months but there was not much improvement. I also sent her tests to different homeopathic doctors in different parts of the world but still their suggested remedies had not any significant improvement. I had no option left except to start studying what is Vitamin D Dependent Rickets Type II and it's corresponding remedy in hoemoapthy. I keep on studying for many months. Then I realized that her remedy is Silicea because her symptoms matched with silicea:

Open fontanelles and sutures, head too large and rest of body emaciated, with pale face, abdomen distended and hot; ankles weak, profuse head sweat, offensive diarrhoea, stools contain undigested food, with great exhaustion, but painless; inflammation, swelling and suppuration of glands and bones, ulceration and necrosis.

Then I did some more research and found that first Calc Phos 6x should be tried. If this is not yeilding desired results then Silicea 200 twice a week should be used. As Calc Phos 6x had already been tried, Silicea 200, 3 drops in some water, 2 doses per week was started 3 months back. This has wonderful results. Her recent blood tests shows that Alkaline Phosphatase is in normal range. This is amazing because 3 months before it was 10,500. Her fontales closed. Her rickets seems to be decreased. Still she is not able to walk but there are lots of improvement overall. I must say that homeopathy is wonderful because in just 3 months there has been lot of improvemnet in a disease for which allopathy has no specific answer.

Now my question is, Should I keep giving her Silicea 200, 2 doses per week or increase it to Silicea 1M or decrease it. Please note that still theree are lot of bone deformaties. Doctors, please help me in this.

Thanks in advance

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
if the improvement has stopped, you can now give SILICEA 1M one dose only to further push the improvement.

there is no need to repeat if the improvement is visible.

infrequently one dose of the same or of a higher potency is required to complete the cure.

After taking silicea 1M,you can try symphytum 200c weekly single dose and calc.phos 6x,5tab twice daily for 1month.

Mr. Rishimba,

Thanks for the reply. There has been enough improvement with Silicea 200, two doses per week.

So you are suggesting that there is no need to repeat silicea 200, as there is good improvement?

What remedy do you suggest if Silicea should be stopped?

I suspect that if i stop Silicea now, disease will come back because still cure is only 20%. Is it good to stop the remedy this way?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Dr. Zahid,

Thankyou for the reply.

There has been enough improvemnt with Silicea 200, 2 doses per week for 3 months but still there are lot of bone deformaties. Biggest improvement is her Alkaline Phosphatase blood test normalized in 3 months from 10,500. As Alkaline phosphatase has been normalized, should we move to Silicea 1 M or keep giving her Silicea 200?

Mr. Rishimba has advised me to stop giving her Silicea 200. I suspect disease will come back as cure has only started. What do u suggest?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Hello

If silicea twice a week gives good results make the frequency as once a week. As long as the 200c improves and no new symptoms get added, it's wise to make use of the therapeutic use of 200c fully till it stops improving before moving on to 1M.

for long term administration you may also consider wet dose(search in this forum for the word).

And if its a right remedy the disease won't come back. if it did it's only palliating in the first place.
