How long should I give a remedy that is working??
Hi. Well I recently started doing homeopathy with my son who has autism. I just gave him a few doses of the remedy our homeopath recommended. Anyway, since I started it I have noticed some improvements, especially in my son's behavior. He seems more calm and is more cooperative and he also seems to be sleeping better. He seems to have fewer sensory issues and is tolerating his baths a little better, which he hated before. He is also trying to ride a bike , though hasnt quite got the hang of it yet! So I am seeing good improvements but I am wondering if I will see more... My question is, is it best to give just a few doses of a remedy until you see improvements, and then stop and see what happens or is it more effective to continue giving the remedy daily for an extended period?? I know when dealing with autism, there is no quick fix so thats why I am wondering if it is best to use a particular remedy for a longer period of time.. I appreciate any opinions on this. Thanks!Jen

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
No remedy is to be given beyond a few quick doses.
It is not the action of the remedy which cures, it is the response of the vital force to the remedy action which cures.
Once that response starts all further doses of the remedy are a hindrance to the cure, and can cause accessory symptoms as well.
Wait and watch as long as he keeps improving.
Only when it has been a long time since the last doses and the improvement has come to a COMPLETE halt or there is a relapse of symptoms, the remedy is to be repeated but that too is not to be done in the same potency. You should increase the potency at such a point.
