The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Sameer, Please help digestion, anxiety, sexual issues

I am desperately missing my homeopathic doctor who moved away. I'm really hoping to find some relief for a few issues I've been facing and homeopathy has always given me results one way or another. From reading the forum I can see that you have helped very many people and I'm hoping you could find a way to fit me in to all the replies you make.

I am a 28 year old female suffering with the following:

Anxiety-mostly over fear of getting a debilitating disease or of death itself.

Digestive issues-I was bulimic as a teenager. Diagnosed with H pylori bacteria, gastritis and small hiatal hernia about one year ago. Chronic constipation, bloating and gas.

Sexual issues-pinching pain at the beginning of intercourse. Very little desire.

Female issues-Extremely painful periods. Often passing rather large, dark clots. Periods come regularly and on time. Sometimes they are so heavy I cannot leave the toilet.

Cardiovascular-I began to develope heart PVC's (I call them flip-flops) about 3 years ago. They come in bunches and then I won't feel them for months

I am 5'8' tall and 145 pounds. Dark blonde hair and fair complexion. I am very self driven, analytical, and cry very easily upon seeing others cry. I married at 18 to a widower with a five year old boy that I have been raising for 10 years and dearly love them both.

When my son was 8 years old he developed seizures which were eventually cured with homeopathics. During that time, however I became very stressed and all the above symptoms started to appear. I had to remind myself just to even breathe I had become so tense and sleeping became a rare treat.

I recently treated myself with 3 pellets of Bryonia 30c for 3 mornings in a row. It certainly helped the constipation, but I developed period cramps and passed a small clot about one week before my period so I was afraid to take a further dose.

The odd thing is that usually about one month a year for no apparent reason all my symptoms disappear. I feel like myself again. Easy weight loss, no constipation, no flip flops in the heart, no anxiety. The painful intercourse often persists, but will occasionally disappear also. I'm completely stumped.I hope that I've provided enough information, but if I haven't I will answer any questions and post back quickly. Please help....

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear plken,

Please let me know, how excitable are you ?

Are you more of a leader or are you more of a follower who takes upon view points of those around very easily ?

Also, tell me about your temperature preferences.

Are you of a mild/yielding temperament ?

Do you forgive easily ?

Do you ever get jealous ?

Dear Sameer,
Thank you so much for answering my post. In response to the questions you posed-

I'm not sure what you mean by excitable. Things do get me on edge easily.

I definitely do not take up the views of others easily. I am usually very convinced that I have examined something completely and have found the best solution/viewpoint.

I am very cold much of the time and prefer warmer, but not humid, weather

My first reaction is usually to forgive and make excuses for someone if they have hurt me. But the true feeling I end up with is hurt.

Yes. I get jealous when someone appears to be more capable than me.

Thanks again. I eagerly look forward to your reply

Do you crave for a lot of affection and consolation ?

How are you in terms of your desire for company ? Do you like being alone ?

sameervermani last decade
No, I don't crave for a lot of attention and consolation in general.

I definitely desire to be alone a lot of the time

Thank you very much for your responses.

Can you please elaborate on these ?

'I am very self driven, analytical, and cry very easily upon seeing others cry. '

and

' love my husband, although he is a little intense sometimes and can make me feel high strung '

sameervermani last decade
Yes. When I put my mind to something I am generally very devoted to it whether it is accomplishing something around the house, learning another language or taking care of my family, or getting any task accomplished. My motivation to do any of it comes from within and I have a tendency to withdraw when someone pushes me to do something I haven't made up my own mind to do.

As far as my relationship with my husband-The way he reacts to things is very 'Italian' (not to be too stereotypical) He is very passionate about everything. When he is discussing things it often feels like an argument to me and it puts me on edge and I will brood about it for days, but to him he's just getting his feelings out in the open and then he moves on. I have a hard time adapting to this because my tendency is to keep it inside until it is absolutely necessary to discuss.

I hope that this is specific enough. Thank you

Just a follow up on the first question on being analytical and crying easily-

I often find myself obsessing over problems and analyzing every possible solution until I come up with the best one

I don't cry very easily over my own problems but when I see others cry, even on tv I can't help but cry too

Okay then, just 3 doses of Ignatia Amara 30c, to be given for one day only as follows:

Dissolve 2 pellets of Ign 30c in a 250 ml spring water bottle. You can shake it gently after they have dissolved.

Take a capful from this bottle 3 times in one day, spaced by 2 hours. This is to be done for one day ONLY.

Let me know in 10 days after these 3 doses.

Restrictions:

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Sameer,

Thank you so very much. I will report back to you after the 10 days.

In regards to drinking tea: I drink decaf green tea every day. Is this, or another non-medincinal caffeine-free herbal tea okay to drink while using the remedy? Also- I occasionally use melatonin if I can't get to sleep at night. Is this still okay to use? Thank you

plken last decade
I would avoid them, if possible.

sameervermani last decade
Thank you. I will do so.

Hi Sameer,
It has been 10 days now since I took the remedy. I have not seen any improvement in symptoms, in fact the anxiety was slightly worse. I have taken this remedy in the past and had seen improvements, so I was surprised to not see any this time. I also had a couple of questions:

How long should I be remaining off coffee/tea etc

And do you think this remedy should improve the pain I have with my periods? If not is there something I should order now so as to have it in time for my next period?

Thanks so much for your help. I'll look forward to your reply

Please repeat the process above with Natrum Muriaticum 30c, i.e. 3 doses to be taken on the same day for 1 day only.

And, report in 1 week from the doses.

sameervermani last decade
Okay. It has been one week today since I took the remedy.

Day One-Took my three doses and by the evening I was feeling very depressed. Like a dark cloud was in my mind.

Day two-Felt better. Started having slight heart palpitations upon any movement. Something I haven't had a problem with for a while.

Day three-Felt pretty good emotionally. Had a hard time getting to sleep.

Day four- Feeling angry. Gave sharp replies to people without meaning to. Felt very pent up. Hard time getting to sleep again.

Day five-Felt better, less anger. Went to sleep just fine. Heart palpitations have been continuing.

Day six-Started my period. Pain not too bad so far. In a fairly good mood. Hard time falling asleep again.

Day seven-Feeling pretty good. Heart palpitations seem to be lessening.

I think that is everything. If I think of anything else I'll add it soon. Please let me know what you think I should do next. Thanks, Sameer for all your help

Good to know, please keep waiting for 1 more week, and then update me at that time.

I just remembered something else. My husband said that the night after I was feeling very angry I was talking in my sleep and that he woke up to find my fist straight up in the air. He was afraid I was going to hit him and so he lowered it back down, and I have no memory of any of it.
On a similar line-I go through spells where I have recurring dreams. There are usually three types of dreams I have. One is that my husband has sold our house and we are now moving to another house, usually a dumpy old house. The second is that someone close to me has died suddenly-my mother, my father, my son, and most recently my husband. This one woke me up and I was bawling for a very long time before I went back to sleep. The third is about a man I used to see who had a lot of emotional and mental problems. I dream that he has come back (he moved) and needs a lot of help. He is usually very unwell in the dream and sometimes just lying in bed. The dream usually leaves me with a very bad feeling for a day or two.

Not sure if these are too important, especially as I am already on a remedy. But there it is just in case. Thanks again

Well, here's an update after about a week. The palpitations have eased some, but I have noticed my heart beating faster sometimes than it normally does.

I've still had a hard time getting to sleep on most nights. I've had some moderate anxiety, but nothing to keep me from normal life.

On the brighter side my period was a lot lighter and easier. I only had a few hours that I really was in pain compared with the few days I usually have.

My digestion seems to be changing. The constipation issue seems to be getting better in the past week. Although, I have had a problem with a lot of burping in the past few days.

My feet have had some slight tingling to them-an issue I had a couple of years ago. It's nothing that keeps me from normal activity.

I've had very vivid dreams and once again had a dream that my husband died.

That is all I can think of. Please let me know what to do next... Thanks so much

We will wait for 1 more week.

Update me at that time.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer,

I was going to wait until the end of the week to update you, but there have been some changes in the last couple of days. The constipation issue was better, but now it has gone back to the way it was. The burping had gotten better for a couple of days and now it is back and I can hear a lot of gurgling in my stomach.

I have not seen any other changes in any other symptoms.

I had eaten a few small peppermint pattie candies during the week assuming that they were artificially flavored, but now I am wondering if they could have been an antidote to my remedy??

Please let me know what you think I should do next. Thanks so much

Please procure Natrum Muriaticum 200c, and let me know once you have it with you.

Do not take it till I tell you to.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer, I had some more developements lately. Today after using the toilet I noticed quite a lot of blood on the tissue. This has happened before, only with less blood and I had cramps like with my period before. This time no cramps and some stringy blood with a sort of clear mucus as when you blow your nose on a cold dry day. My eyes have also been very strained lately and quite dry. Sleep is still hard at night, although my sleeping patterns have been a little messed up due to work.

I will go ahead and get the 200c if you still think I need too. I am a little nervous about taking such a high dose. What can I expect from taking it? Looking forward to your reply. Many thanks

plken last decade
Hi Sameer.I hope you are well while you are traveling. I'm glad you haven't replied yet because I have yet another update.
The constipation issue is once again improving, while at the same time the heart flip flops have returned and I am still having trouble getting to sleep, although as mentioned before this could be due to my work schedule lately.
Not sure if I mentioned this before, but oddly enough my teeth have seemed to be loose the past few weeks.
Just waiting on your assurance for the 200c.

Thanks again. Take care
