hives appear after midnight

I need some advice here, please.
A few months ago my husband and I went to Chinatown to have dinner. We ordered fish and squid and some veggies. I could taste the squid wasn't very fresh, so I only had one bite. That night after falling asleep, around 1 o'clock I felt itchy on my neck and back. So I scratched them, and in the beginning there are bumps looked like from mosquito bites. Then the bumped started spreading and swelling. They went away fast, like within an hour. Symptom was consistent for a couple a weeks, so I went to see a Chinese herbalist. He prescribed some medicine, and it was pretty effective. I did not have hives for a few days. I didn't know the squid could be culprit until second time I had it and that night hives came back. The mysterious thing about the hives is that it only appears at night, after 12! And it goes away in one hour.

I went back to see the Chinese herbalist again and got some more medicines. But it didn't work as well as the first time.

So I called my doctor, some assistant called back and asked me to take Benadryl. Now it is the only medicine that works for me. I found that I only need one pill every three days, and the fourth night the hives come back on time.

I've ordered Urtica urens 30C and I don't know if I should try it. I think the squid is likely the culprit. However, I was never allergic to it before. I have a cat at home. I was told cat could be the culprit too. But first month we got her I did not experience any discomfort.

I accepted my Chinese doctor's advice. I stopped eating seafood, eggs, and beef for a while, but seems my condition is not improved.

Can anyone tell me if I should try Urtica urens for a few days? Any instruction?

P.S.: The first night I had hives was July 30th, so it's been three months now.
I've had hives when I was young, for a few years, but when I entered adolescence I never had it again.

Thanks so much for your suggestion.
I only find Arsenic Album 9c on amazon. Is that okay?

Also, can I keep taking benadryk while I take this? Or should I stop taking benadryl?

Thanks.

My husband does not support me to try it. He thinks it might end up mess my body up.
I think it's just herbal, should be harmless, right?

dr. faisal

need your help again.
The arensic album you recommended I received arrived until yesterday.

Last week my hives stopped coming back without taking any antihistamine, so I thought my body was recovering. But last night I went to a sushi place and had some seabass and salmon, last night hives came back. I am certain now that I am allergic to seafood.
Today I received arensic album, I don't know if i should take it as you instructed because i checked online description it says this is mainly used for food poison, anxiety, etc.

I do have urtica urens, should I take it instead? Please give some advice. Thanks.

Dr. Faisal,

I started taking Arsenic Nov 29, Saturday. Today is Friday. I stopped taking Benadryl to see if the hives go away. Unfortunately, hives seem worse. It comes back around 1:30am. Now I am scratching my back and face. I am really bothered. The symptom seems more intense now. I have hives on my scalp, forehead, cheeks, neck, upper arms, and back.

Should I stop taking the medicine?
