Excema in a baby

I'm after a little advice for my son.
He's 12weeks old on friday. Exclusively breastfed and had only been bathed in olive oil and water.
Overnight last thursday he came out in spots all over his tummy, skin was very very dry and pealing. I tryed to moisturise the skin with olive oil.
The spots remained though his temprement was same as normal, very content, quiet and smiley.
I took him to the dr's monday after glancing at him they diagnosed excema and gave me creams.
I've used aveeno rather than the cream they gave.
Yesterday I visited a local healthshop and after chatting with the owner came out with
TUB Bovinum 200C
3 powders to give 12hrly.
He had 1st last night and second this morning.
He's so missrable, I've never seen him like this he cryed for 10 mins on waking, then again later on, he's dristressed if I try to put him down. He's been awake only a few hrs today and has been so unhappy when hee is.
When he's relaxed asleep his skin looks ok on face but spotty arms legs tummy chest.
When he's freating I can see tiny red rash everywear, face, back, scalp. It looks so inflamed and angry.
Have I given him something wrong? Should I give the 3rd dose? I hate seeing him so unhappy.
Thankyou.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I can't understand why that person gave him Tub Bovinum, not to mention that potency which is too high and unnecessary for a baby.

Please do not repeat the 3rd dose, and now wait until this aggravation subsides.

I just want to add that if this remedy was well indicated then after the aggravation subsides you should see a cure gradually take place, but if this condition lasts for to many days or when it subsides the state of the baby became worse than initially was then that would confirm that the remedy was wrong selected.

Thanks for your reply, I was so concerned about him we whent to the Dr, who sent us to the childrens unit in an Ambalance.
His breathing was noisy and heartreat up, and very distressed and spotty.
At the unit they could find no problems, said probably viral gave us an opent ticket for 24hrs and let us home.
Hes much calmer again now.

After reading threw other threads I'm worried I may have hurt him by giving him a too higer dose of the Tub Bovinum :(
He was back to his normaly happy self Wed night as we returned from the hospital.
The next day - the change in his skin was dramatic, far less dry, most of the spots had gone copleatly, all that remained was a slight red rash down his left chest and tummy. He made no effort to attack himself. His mood seemed fine but he was quite restless in the evening.
Friday skin better than it has been in ages, the fain rash still there though, again restless at night.
Today on waking skin seemed good, when I bathed him though, his skin started to redden and as I took him out he was scratching and grabbing at his chest again, and the spots were vissible.
His legs and arms are clear of rash now, and his back just has a few near the bace of his spine were he has a patch of hair.
The man who gave be the treatment said to check back with him in a month.
Any advice would be greatly appreaciated.
