Need help for adrenals

I am a 79 year old woman generally in excellant health. A doctor told me years ago, 'Your adrenals are fried' but offered no suggestions and I continued to feel fine. Lots of energy and ambition until the last few months. I either wake feeling ill or feel good and within an hour am exhausted.
I have occasional pain in the left side of the back.
Nothing seems to make it worse or better. I thought it might be from the kidney but it doesn't respond to Berb as it has in the past so I feel it's the adrenals according to the symptoms I've read.
I sleep well and usually wake twice to urinate.
No problem getting to sleep and only occasional problem returning to sleep after waking during the night.
I am sensitive to lights, smells, sounds and enjoy the change of seasons.
I have a lot of work to do but not the energy or inclination to do it.
Am a vegan who recently started eating eggs for protein.
Have recently developed an intolerance for gluten.
No major diseases.
Allergic to penicillin family.
For 35 years have treated myself succesfully with homeopathy. One low dose usually takes care of any problems.
No other complaints that I can think of.
