isha_dr 9 years agoDefinately it is ring worm infestations.Round, coin shaped with itching are the favourable points for ring worm or taeniasis.Only steroid application is not ideal thinking. You can try topical antifungal mixed with mild potent steroid like Fungidal-HC cream for few days. Then gradually tapper it and finally stop it.Along with you can try sulpher 30c once daily for 7 days.
Zahid)2 9 years agoHi,
Any application of medicinal creams (especially steroidal) is going to push the disease deep into the child's constitution and that is a very dangerous thing.
And, Sulphur is not a panacea for skin complaints. One dose of 30c for 7 consecutive days in such a young child can cause horrible aggravations. These are energy medicines where just a few doses are enough to kick start the curative response if the medicine is chosen carefully.
Please give details about the child's temperament as that will be the most important thing in picking the right remedy.
What are the other illnesses, the child has suffered from birth ?
What are the diseases that run in the family ?
