My Case once Again

Hello all,
After so many trials with homeopathy, I wanted to seek someone's advice here once again. I had developed IBS I believe shortly after my father's death. I cannot say if it was all grief induced - as at the time I was also drinking a fair amount of alcohol and coffee. I suffered from it for almost 2 years. I was advised to take Nux V. I tried 30c, 200c - but only aggravations. I then tried a 1m. And I had a world of success. I repeated the dose 2 months later and suffered a relapse of original symptoms along with new symptoms I'd never seen before- pseudo angina pectoris, waking at 3am, rectal constriction. For almost 2 year since, I've been trying to re-establish the equilibrium the initial dose of Nux 1m brought about. I have tried a plethora of remedies - some antidotal to Nux, some complimentary some simply similar. My main symptoms as they stand now are: ineffectual urging to stool and restless sleep - waking after 2 am constantly, on the hour, every hour. Can any shed some light on how to get back to normalcy? Thanks very much.
