UTI in a child

My 4 yo is miserable. It started with her having frequent accidents with no pain. But when she urinated in the toilet she would scream. She said it was the end that stung badly. I gave her aco and that brought calmness and sleep. One day she was fine. Yesterday the pain returned and is more severe. She holds in the last drops so that it doesn't sting. Last night she had intense itching that stopped once she fell asleep. She woke twice around 1pm because she needed to pee. Both times she was in pain.

It is rare for her to wake at night to pee. She is normally a very healthy child but she usually likes to hold her urine until the last possible second before going to the bathroom. This is possibly why it happened. She only likes very sweet and cold foods. Her favourites beeing frozen fruit and frozen peas.

Please help because i'll be traveling soon and really don't want to have to get her antibiotics. Something none of my children have had so far.

Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give your child Cantharis 30c thrice daily for 3 days and report.
