Dr. Sameer for my daughter

Hello doctor,

Again thank you so much for helping my son!

My daughter is 11 years old. Her birthday will be in May. She just started her period. She had a lot of white discharge about a week before her period started. I thought she would get it later since she is my small eater. She loves fruits, salads, chocolate, and sweets. She has dark hair and thin with a few freckles. When she was a baby she developed slower than my son. She had peeling skin on her head. She was not premature. I had her naturally. My son I had a c-section with (he is 16). She was always a happy baby. Seemed to be content and quiet. She has gradually become very demanding and angry. She has always had learning problems in school. Her reading is poor. Her writing is poor her math is a little better. She loves music, art and riding her bike. She has always been very clingy to me. Always wanting me to be with her, wanting me to sleep with her. She is quiet around others but likes to talk within our family. She is even quiet with relatives she knows. She hates school and wants me to home school her but I know she will lag behind or find excuses not to do work if I school her at home. She has some friends but is not as social as my son. Although she loves being invited to outings with friends. She goes with them without me and has a great time. Her teachers have said this year that she has focusing issues and cannot seem to get her work done on time. She has a hard time falling asleep lately which has never been an issue before. She has a hard time waking up. She is very grumpy in the morning. She likes to keep her feet out of the covers when sleeping. She is mainly cold natured. She loves talking and playing with her dogs. Oh, when she had her period, she did feel very tired and achy in her lower back and lower belly. I can't think of anything else.

Thank you,
sindym

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I'm sorry doctor, I forgot to tell you that I have given my daughter something from the health food store called ATTEND. It does have homeopathic remedies within this formula. I did not want to put her on ADD medication that a doctor was recommending.

Thank you.

Please stop the homeopathic combination, immediately.

Also, can you please explain what you mean by this :

'She is mainly cold natured'

Can you please also mention, how emotional and affectionate is she?

For 'she is mainly cold natured': Meaning, she likes to be covered up. She gets cold easily. This was more so when she was younger. Although she likes to keep her feet out of the covers. She can be emotional. She cried this morning because I woke her up for school. She says she doesn't have enough time to relax. She is not in any other activites after school. When she is sick she likes to sit right next to me. She used to get a lot of stomach aches and she would want me to rub her tummy. She mainly likes a back rub. She is very affectionate. She says I love you a lot. She is concerned about how others treat unfortunate people. She was quietly upset yesterday when some of the 5th graders were being silly during the inauguration of President Obama. She said that they should show some respect when watching a President become inaugurated. She loves animals and is very affectionate toward her dogs. She loves when her dad hugs her and wishes that her older brother would be nice to her. She is quiet with others but demanding with me especially. She expects me to do for her and remember for her. She has a poor memory and forgets to do things. The last doctor we went to said that she has a slight curve to her spine but nothing we should be concerned about. I have taken her to a Chiropractor and she feels better after she sees him. Her attitude seems better also. She does complain about her back hurting and legs hurting when she is walking and shopping with me for about an hour. She was on a volleyball team last year for a short while and could not hit the ball over the net. She has poor upper body strength. Like I said, she is thin and seems frail but yet stands up for herself when in a conflict with a friend. She says she wants to be a Veterinarian a Chef or an Artist. She used to be a fast sound sleeper, now she has a hard time sleeping and wakes up with noise.

Please give her 3 doses of Phosphorus 30c in the exact same manner as your son's doses.

Thank you!

One more question...Do I wait 5 days before giving her the phosphorous since she has been on something that has homeopathic remedies?

Thank you Doctor.

sindym last decade
Yes, please give a gap of 5 days.

Hello Doctor,

I gave my daughter the 30c of phosphorus as you directed but forgot to give her the third dose at the 30 minute mark. I gave it to her an hour after the 2nd dose. Is this still O.K.? Do I need to repeat the dosage? I still have the water with the 2 pellets of phosphorus dissolved. I'll wait to throw it out until I hear from you.

Thank you!

sindym last decade
That is ok.

Don't repeat.

Thank you doctor! I was so worried.
I'll report back in 5 days!

Hi Doctor Sameer,

It has been 5 days since I gave my daughter the 30c of phosphorous. She seemed to be uplifted in her mood the next day. She was more giggly and silly. She did get in trouble at school for talking too much with her friends. She still is irritated and angry in the mornings but not as strong. When she completed her math assignment 2 days ago she made a lot of careless mistakes.
She still does not want to study and complains about it. She still complains that she wants to relax. She says she doesn't have enough time to just hang out. Which she really does. She has always just wanted to sit and watch T.V. I always have to redirect her to do other things because she just wants to watch T.V. all day. She did go to the mall with a good friend of mine and her daughters and had a great time.
What should I do now?

Thank you,
sindym

Thank you doctor.
Have you seen my post for my son? I was wondering what I should do for him.
Also, do you practice in the U.S.?
You have done so much for my two children. I appreciate the way you respond and how careful you are.
I would like to send you information about myself. Can I e-mail you to ask about what your charges are?

Thank you,
sindym

Hi Sameer,

It has been 10 days since my daughter's dosage of phosphorous. It did uplift her mood for a few days. She seems a little more responsible but still wants me to do everything. She has always had a tendency to stand in front of the T.V. and not understand that she is blocking our view. But she is concerned when her friend is hurt. So it seems that she is selfish but then she cares about others feelings. She was also kind of a clumsy child. She seemed to fall a lot, not so much in the last 2 years. She also loves to keep things. She does not want to throw them away. Even pieces of paper that have no use. She is messy and leaves things around. She is concerned how she looks and loves to look fashionable but seems not to care about her looks in the morning. She was very upset when I left for a conference and wanted me to come home. She cried but then the next day she seemed a little better. I was gone three days. My husband said he really made sure she got everything ready for the next day of school the night before. Her school work did suffer. She always thinks she is doing fine with school work. I asked her how she did on her tests and she seems to be pretty positive but then when we get the results back it is the total opposite. The results were not good at all while I was gone. She feels that she doesn't have to put in a lot of effort. T.V. and playing is more important.
What do I do now? The keeping things that are useless sounds like sulpher but I don't know.

Thank you,
SindyM

Please give her 3 doses of

Pulsatilla 30c

in the exact same manner as the Phos doses.

Report in 1 week.

sameervermani last decade
Thank you! I will have to get it tomorrow.

I forgot to ask you if I should still give her the dose even though her period will be coming in 1 or 2 days.

Thank you for your response.

Wait till her period finishes

Sameer,

I went ahead and gave my daughter the pulsatilla dose and then I saw your response about waiting until her period was over. She hasn't gotten her period yet. Did this totally mess her up? I did notice a slight improvement in her behavior, nothing dramatic though. It was very slight in taking responsibility over her work and not being so angry. I still have to remind her about homework and using appropriate tone with me but I do notice an improvement. It is interesting because an elderly woman in our family who was very much into homeopathy, whom as passed, away, met my daughter when she was a baby (8 months old) and said she was a pulsatilla baby. I'm sure constitutions change as one gets older but it was interesting.
What do you think about this. Do I keep her on pulsatilla?

Thank you for everything!

Do not repeat the medicine, as the first response is improvement on the mental level, and we must not change remedies or repeat the same during these improvements.

Please update me when it has been 2 weeks from the Pulsatilla doses.

Thank you! I will report back in 2 weeks!

Hi Sameer,

I wanted to report to you that my daughter is doing better! She is becoming more responsible and not as angry. She spent the night at a friends house without worrying whether she should call me or not. The two week period that I needed to report back to you will be this weekend. I reported earlier because my daughter is in the beginnings of a cold. The flue season has hit again in our area. Can I give her the cold care brand called oscillococcium by boiron? Or would it be best to give her vitamins and see how it goes? Another question about pulsatilla.... will this remedy address her poor performance in school such as memory, getting concepts and focusing?

Thank you again for your careful diagnoses!

SindyM

sindym last decade
NO oscillococcinum please.

It will spoil the progress.

If you can please tell me, the symptoms that accompany the cold, I can see if I can suggest something. Please tell what makes it better, what makes it worse, what are the main complaints , .....

Sameer

And, yes, Pulsatilla will address all her issues. Be patient.
