This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have no idea what that is--and I've had dogs -always so far.

What symptoms can you see?

Tell us also more about the dog's apppetite/thirst/sleep/etc

skin disease of some sort.
eruption which spreads out in a rash followed by the fur falling out.
fairly thirsty
some voice loss and occasional cough.
vet says it will be quite painful too.

is it itching? red? oozing anything? How does look like?

Worse in warmth-cold-open air?

And the cough--describe if it's dry, rattling mucus etc

When is the dog coughing?does anything make it worse or better?

What's his?/her? name?

history :
her name is jazz (jasmine) and she is a black brindle english bullterrier
started about 2 years ago. no previous problems.
has had one attack per year since. seems to come after the dog has been in season.
stress seems to make it worse-has had a minor op on foot after which the skin problem flared.
symptoms of cough and state of rash have always been different. rash always works forward from hind quarters.
when the lesions start the skin is v.sensitive, but gets less so. this time it has also spread to her head, and just under the eye.
has had a fever with it that has calmed. all the hair on affected area falls out-but regrows after attack. dog is depressed/very quite a lot of the time, but is normally a dynamo.occasionally scratches area so an itch or a hurt. the rasmh is red and bleeds/oozes a yellowish liquid.
temperature doesn't seem to be a factor.
treatmnet has been:
antibiotics from vet
complementary treatments including moducare(natural steroids), omega 3 and 7, vitamins a,c,e ,folic acid, co q10, radionics, scenar, reiki and tlc.

Please explain what you mean by:

1."her cough and state of rash have always been different"

Do you mean she had two fits of coughing and rash and both were different?
Could you describe both? When did they happen: summer, winter?

2. when the lesions start the skin is v.sensitive

Painful? She doesn't want to be touched?

3.occasionally scratches area so an itch or a hurt. the rash is red and bleeds/oozes a yellowish liquid.

not much scratching? When mostly: in warm room, open air, cold.
Are there red eruptions or red skin?
What is bleeding and what oozes?

Write as if you would describe it to a blind person.

Just a comment - furuncles is another name for boils . Clarke reccommends Hep , Sil & Sul for the problem. If in the ear Tar Cub has been used to good effect.
