Apis Mellifica and itching

I have been using a homeopathic sublingual spray arthritis formula for the past week.
For the past two days I noticed I am itching like crazy. Like I have hives. I checked the formula and it consisted of a few things including Apis Mellifica, which I know is used to treat rashes, stings, itching.etc. I also know that bee venom or sting can be beneficial to those with arthritis. So what I am asking is, because my initial health problem is the arthritis, not an itchy skin condition Could I be sensitive to the apis mellifica in the formula and that could be the culprit to the itching?
I am still learning about homeopathy so please bare with me people.
So if you take a homeopathic remedy, but you do not have that problem, could it actually cause the problem if you are healthy?
Thanks for any feedback
