ganglion cyst on finger

Hello,
I just found this forum and was hoping I could get some advice.
I have an incredibly painful bump on my right index finger. It is on the inside of the finger and appeared suddenly two weeks ago. I had been having trouble with the joints in that finger locking and popping especially at night. Now I have what the doctor believes is a ganglion cyst. She has referred me to a rheumatologist to check out that and other joint pain. The appointment is six weeks from now! I have been checking the forum and seen several suggestions for homeopathic remedies, but it seems to vary depending on what caused the cyst and the location. Can anyone suggest homeopathics I should try to aid in healing this cyst?
