Gum abscess.
My 6 yrs old is complaining of pain in his tooth which has become black . Today morning he got small bump which is red in color on his lower gum . It's pains with touching. please advise some medicine .nikkikumar on 2009-02-09

Take
plantago Q and glycerine
equal part shake and apply on the affected gum with the hepl of your finger . This will reduce pain and swelling.

It is indicated in pyorrhoea. Gum boil, natural looseness of teeth, with or without pain, tooth-ache, gums sensitive to cold, abcess at root of teeth, spongy bleeding gums, pus in gums and foul breath.

in equal proportion.

but if the boy is taking any mercury medicine, then that silicea 6x in the combination can cause a problem;;

merc ------> mercurius solubilis (mercurius - hydrargyrum)
merc-c ------> mercurius corrosivus
merc-cy ------> mercurius cyanatus
merc-d ------> mercurius dulcis
merc-i-f ------> mercurius iodatus flavus
merc-i-r ------> mercurius iodatus ruber
merc-sul ------> mercurius sulphuricus, drarg
this is very good point brought forward by dr. sharma.
merc. and silica do not go well if they are followed by each other.
you are giving many remedies to your children. write down in a note-book the remedies that you have given to your child datewise. this will be helpful in future.
you should ensure that silica does not immediately follow merc.

He is not taking any mercury medicine. Yesterday my son had an appoinment with the dentist and she told he has 2 deep seated cavities which might reach to his nerve so they advised metal capping also he has small cavities in his 2 permanant teethwhich need filling . In our area water is deficient for floride every kid needs floride supplement butI don,t give him . Is this could be reason of his cavities? Is there any medicine which can cure cavities.?

Give him bc 18 for few days. 2 tablets 4 times daily at interval of 3 hours.
