Azoospermia - Dr Mahfooz - Please Help
Dear Doctor;I am 30 years old, diagnosed azoospermia in dec2007. Till now I have consulted one urologist and another IVF specialist. Under gone one testicular fine needle Aspiration (no sperm found). According to both of the doctors, azoospermia may due to either childhood dieses or birth defect.
I had a swelling in my testicle at the age of 17 at that time doctor told that is due to Fileria and gave medicine. I had measles (fever with slight red rashes on body) at age of 19. Before 5 years I had a slight swelling and pain in testicle area and doctor told may due to infection and gave medicine.
I have 3 brothers and all of them have 2 or more children ( all are girls).
I didnt have any pre marital sex relations. I used to masturbate regularly before marriage
I have no difficulties in erection and having sex with my wife. Some times it takes long time for ejaculation.

Doctor suggested me to avoid chicken and other meats, packed foods and to take cod liver oil for three months

Thank you for your attention,
My chidhood diseses history is as follows;
1) I used to have head ache (aprox. once in a month )from
child hood itself now also it comes and according to doctor it is migrane.
2) I had chicken pox at age of 13or14
3)I had swelling in my testicle at age of 17 according
to doctoritwas due to fileria i had medicine and it gone.
4) I had measles (fever with slight red rashes) at age of 18. I took medicine.
5)For the last 6 to 7 years i used to have pain
(burning pain) on testicle and usualyy it goes after 5 to 10 days.
6) before 4 years i had swelling near by my tescile ( not for testicle) and doctor told it may be due to infection and he gave me medicines and it went.
7) before 2 years i had slight burnig pain on testicle for 10 days and it went auto matically.
in short; i had pain (burning pain but not severe and swelling in my testicles around 4 to 5 times (in last 5 years (aprox. once in an year) . but there was no change in color of urine o something like that.

Yes, i visited urologist once. he examined my testis and told it is due to infection . nothing serious and he gave some medicine and it gone. some times the pain is without swelling and lasts only for two or three days and i didnt visit doctor. pain was not sevier it was a slight buring pain.
i dont remember about any other problems during swelling.
as i told earlier. i amrried 2.5 years befor and dignosed azoo spermia 1 year before. before i knew that iam azoospermic i used to have sex with wif regulery (about 5 times a week). But after dignosed azoospermia it reduded to 1 or 2 times in a week. some times it takes too long for ejaculation. but no problem for errection.

after knowing about azoospermia i think my semen quantity also reduced. in my final semen analysys qty was 1 ml.
my male hormone (T) is normal now also.

At present are you suffering from pain or swelling in tests?
If not then after how much durration is happened? Is the pain in tests or spermatic nerve?
Any other disease from which you are suffering from or ever suffer regarding genetal parts or otherwise?

At present iam not suffering from pain or swelling.
It happends once in every year and lasts for one week. sweliing was there at the age of 17 only. after that a very slight swelling and pain in testis. twice i had pain and swelling in spermattic nerves.
Now some times iam feeling a slight pain on tests after having sex. the pain is same as if the tests got pressed.
Other than the above i don't/did'nt suffer from any diseases to genetal parts or other.

I have got very remarkable results in using the following medicine also:
Selenium-3x +
Vanadiam 3x +
Zincum Met 30
(Combination of all above thrice after meal and a herbal medicine known as VERONA (capsul by Herbion Lab. Karachi(one capssul between the meal twice a day in lunch and dinner).
Please try these medicine for a month and got report and no sex for 6/7 days before giving semen sample to the lab..
However, I may also give a piece of advice to the patient of azoospermia to have intercourse only after 10th day to 20th of mensuration and no so frequent otherwise.
