Pilonial Sinus - Pankaj Varma

Hi! This is Sunny, 25years old. I am suffering from Pilonial Sinus since 5 years now. I have been operated twice but its recurring again. It is occured between the buttocks. I have been dressing with Betadine and gauze everytime it pains. The dressing is done at home itself and have not visited any doctor since the last time operation was done. I visited the doctor last month to actually find out what can be done to permanently avoid this recurrence. He mentioned to go for a surgery where the centre of the buttocks would be removed and skin would be taken from the other part of the body to cover that up. I don't want to go for another operation which is quite painful and the way he mentioned was difficult to digest. Is there any other treatment which I can follow to permanently get rid of this problem?

Send me a photograph of the area of the pilonidal cyst (if you are unable to upload it here ) so that I can guide you further.
