Gum surgery

Hi, I had gum surgery yesterday to clean under crown margins x 4 crowns. Procedure took 1.5 hours, I had anaeshtetic injections locally there but still it is quite painful - to be expected as I have dissolvable sutures in place.
In order to help healing and decrease risk of infection, what can I take? So far I have taken arnica 30 drops every 4 hours.
Thanks in advance.
