expiration date

How long can you keep the remedies. I probably have some that have been in my medicine cabinet for 10 years. I don't know what to do w/ them. Please advise. Thanks.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
As long as they have not been in extreme heat they are still good. I have had some for 30 years.

The manufacturers must put an expiration date because of the law. ALSO, it is a marketing trick to make one buy more.

In India, homeo medicines don't have any expiry date. The law also doesn't require it.

As long as you are keeping the medicines, away from heat, light, and odors, and if they are stored in a cabinet(woodden preferably),they last infinitely.

However,if you have pellets, and the color is changed,or they become soggy, semi liquid etc.better renew your stock.
