Frustrating Allergies pls help

I've been generally allergic as long as i can remember. As a young kid, I'd have several bouts with intense coughing that would develop into pneumonia. At some point then, i developed asthmatic symptoms. From the ages of 8-13, my allergies turned to my skin. Eczema on the elbow joints and heels. The allergies then appeared to subside for nearly 10 years. In my early 20's, had a small incident on the beach with young robbers. As i was chasing them, from the beach first, then through a construction site (45 degrees Celsius) then into an airconditioned mall (21 degrees Celsius), i felt my chest and lungs tighten up. The next few days, i developed wheezing symptoms and difficulty breathing, besides the kick to my ego for not catching them. Saw a homeopath, but i don't remember the remedies he put me on. Needless to say, it worked, symptoms subsided and felt generally better. That was in 2004 in the gulf. In 2006, summer, canada, the wheezing symptoms returned, although they did not feel debilitating this time. My GP prescribed a puffer (that i've only used twice) but my homeopath recommended a remedy or two that again, worked to end that round of wheezing.

Last summer, also in canada, I spent several day outdoors, camping, biking, etc and was exposed to mosquitos/black flies/all sorts of nasty feeders. I ended up in the hospital 3 times. The bites wouldn't bother me the first day, the second day, they'd develop locally into a protruding bump. The day after that, the bump would be painful and would be the size of 2 plantains -thats bigger than a banana. The ER doctors would freak out, and twice i was able to talk them out of administering antibiotics. The 3rd time, i was bit on my left palm by a mosquito, but i noticed a red trail moving from the bite location going up my main vein/artery once, it reached my elbow -sort of like a river- i knew it was pretty serious and i caved to the antibiotics (been A/B clean for 7 years before that). I felt miserable.

Anyway, fast forward to winter 2009, for the past two months my nose has been almost completely blocked.

Current symptoms:
-It's worse in the mornings. -Nose blocked, stuffed.
-Eyes watery.
-Worse when i blow my nose, i start sneezing hard.
-Discharge is generally clear.
-Some relief when i'm sleeping, not when i sleep but when i wake up, my nose is open.
-Ears blocked when nose blocked.
-Relieved during intense exercise.

Besides the frustration of breathing from my mouth for nearly two months, tasting less, hearing less (that's good sometimes), i feel bummed out. This has happened before but never in Canada. It happened in a couple summers in my native country in my stay on the mountains (summers).

What do you guys think, i can clearly see a recurring pattern. Treatments have generally addressed symptoms it seems and not the root causes.

Besides getting your advise on treating the symptoms with remedies, i'd be interested to learn from you on the methodology you'd recommend for treating the allergy's root causes.

Besides allergies, i've seen homeopaths over the years over migraine issues, hurt knee and low energy. Haven't spoken to my last homeopath in a couple years.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you're wondering if the allergies have gotten any better, no they haven't

Lol. any takers? I'm open to suggestion on this one.
