Ignatia amara for SAD?
I am living in Sweden, a country which has very little sunshine during the winter. Mean 6 hrs/day, but very cloudy. Probably, the seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is due the lack of sunshine which stimulates the production of serotonin. Should Ignatia amara be used then or another remedy?troja on 2009-03-17
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Kindly provide details of your feeling state since there are three types of SADs as described by Mayo Clinic.
On general understanding of the ailment, i can suggest following Bach Flower Remedies:
Musturd
Walnut
Gorse
3-4 drops each to be mixed in a bottle of water, to be sipped frequently.
