seeking remedy for my son,s symptoms Page 7 of 9

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hello Sameer,
I will pay special attention to what might be peculiar. the only thing that I can think of so far is that he is so young and he snores. When he just started walking he had very bow legs, then I gave him Calc phos. tissue salts I believe and his legs straightened.
He took a very long time to talk. He was three years old before he even said one word, but he was paying very attention to everything
around him.
Once as a very young baby he fell off the bed onto the floor (rolled off me as I fell asleep) but did not even cry at all.

I will write anything else that I may think peculiar.
Thank you
Marika

Okay, try to find something and update whenever you do.

Hello Sameer,
I am writing today because my son has a very sore throat, red big tonsils and hard to swallow because of pain.

Yesterday his tonsils had white stuff on them, here and there, tongue was and still is white and kind of furry-looking. His throat does not smell, odly enough, his energy is ok, he sleeps quite a bit, is in pretty good spirits, just frustrated because he cannot go outside. He is waiting for this cold to pass.
I cannot see any irregular behaviour-on Friday it was quite cold here and he was in short sleeves all day. My theory, he was out in the cold and got a sore throat.
thank you,
Marika

If it gets worse, you can give him 3 doses of Phosphorus 30c in water equally spaced by 30 minutes.

Normally, if a patient is not getting limited by the acute, that is an indication that it will pass on its own.

The only limitation is that he did not go to school yesterday, and has slept quite a bit today. His tonsils hurt when swallowing.
If these symptoms persist should I go ahead with the Phosporus or should I wait it out? I think the worst day was Friday, but the pain and redness is still there.

Thank you,

Marika last decade
You can give the dose if they persist.

Hello Sameer,
It has been a while since I have written about my son. If I remember correctly I did give him that dose of Phosphorus, the red sore throat went away in a day or two.

the reason I am writing today is because I noticed that he has a little hard lump behind his right ear, along where the bone is. He has always had a little swelling there, but I noticed that it may have become bigger over the last few months, and with the short summer hair I saw it more clearly. The left side is slightly risen but not as big as the right.
I massaged all around it yesterday and may do the same today; he is worried about it and wants to get it removed.

I am wondering if it is the lymphatics, as in the case of his tonsils, they also are a bit swollen. Just want to make sure it is not anything serious.
Mentally he is fine. Very balanced, have not seen anything out of everyday normal behaviour, emotionally he is doing great. Now that his sister will be leaving for a few months he is thinking that it will be more lonely for him, they are very good friends.

After school ended, this year he has been spending quite a bit of time playing video games during the day but he does everything he is asked without a negative attitude.

He is a referee for soccer, still trains in karate. All in all he is doing pretty well.

Is there anything I should give him? Maybe one of those combination remedies to help lymphatics along?
thank you for helping,
Marika

Marika last decade
No combination remedies please.

If it is not painful or bothersome, do not worry, it is most probably just a benign swelling of glands.

No harm in asking for a diagnosis from an MD though.

Hi Sameer,
I was not about to give combinations.
It is not painful.
thank you

Hello Sameer,
how are you?
I am writing today because my son is displaying a symptom which I do not know if I shoud address or leave alone, I think I should ask you:

He has been a referee for soccer all summer long, but today he reffed 4 games, was out in the sun all day long with only a couple of breaks in between games to be in the shade, and when he finished his last game,(it has been 3 1/2 hours now), he has been sneezing, blowing his nose constantly, but the sneezing is very frequent.
It might pass after a good night's sleep of course, I dont know, we will see. His eyes are also red-he is sort of sensitive to being in the sun for too long, today was exceptionally long for him I guess.

Please let me know if this symptom needs any attention.

thank you,
Marika

Leave it for a day, if it is still bothersome at that time, talk to me.

sameervermani last decade
thank you, I will.
He has been sneezing, his eyes are running, and he does have to blow his nose quite a bit. He says he got a cold but he does not understand how, it was a warm day today.

Hello Sameer,
I must report that when my son woke up the next day, as the day progressed he was just fine, no sneezing at all nor running of the nose, just as you said.

Thank you and I am sorry that I may have overreacted to this situation.
thank you again

Hello Sameer,
I am writing today to talk about something I am noticing is happening with my son.

He participates in gym at school and he takes karate as I have mentioned before.
In the last while, I would say last couple of months I notice his gym clothes and the karate suit is soaking wet from sweating. He has been in the class for years and I have been washing the same suit for a long time, but lately, I find that this same clothing is as if one soaked it and wrung it out. Same with his gym shirt, shorts, etc.
I was muscle testing him with whatever remedies I have and I found that Kali Phos is very strong. I am writing to report this finding to you and ask if this excess sweating is of concern as far as you can see.
Would he not be losing a lot of minerals every day in gym? We make sure we eat well here in the house, lots of vegetables, etc. but all that loss of electrolytes probably should be replenished somehow.
what is your opinion about Kali Phos? He tested very strong for it.

Regards,
Marika

Dear Sameer,
I did not get a reply to the last post, so I am writing again, this time with another couple of symptoms.
Two nights ago my son told me that he went to casually stretch his leg and his thigh muscle seized on him with intense pain, a few minutes later his calf did the same. so I looked it up, cramps with stretching, Calcarea Carb, sweats profusely Calc. again, he gives up easily when it is time to concentrate and do homework, and I saw that he has two little mushy bumpls down the side of his neck on either side, it might be more glandular swelling.

I am wondering if it is time to give him a remedy, it has been quite a while since he had one, school has started and there are more demands on his energy physically and mentally.

Please let me know if you can, I would really appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Marika

What do you mean when you say 'I was muscle testing him with whatever remedies I have and I found that Kali Phos is very strong.' ??

Going back to Calcarea Carb is a good idea.

We can start at 1 higher LM potency of wherever we left last time.

sameervermani last decade
Hello Sameer,
I am so glad you answered me.'strong with Kali Phos is when I let him hold the remedy and his arm strength is considerably stronger than without it' so I deduce that this remedy is good for him at this time.

As the days went on and I saw more symptoms, I looked up and Calcarea was more evident,
I last gave him 'ten hits to the LM1 ' on 12-10-11
should I now give him LM2, 10 drops in 250ml water and report back in 10 days? or 5?

I will do it when he comes home from school today.
thank you,
Marika

Marika last decade
Yes, 1 higher LM potency than what we last gave is good.

Dose once every 48 hours for 4 doses, and then report back after that,

Dont forget to hit Helios bottle 8 times before each dose.

sameervermani last decade
Hello Sameer,
how are you?
I am writing to say that I gave the last dose of the Calcarea LM2 on Sunday night.

I am also happy to report that the little bump behing his right ear is both smaller and softer. To tell you the truth, I am relieved and happy to know that we are moving in the right direction with this, he also has a little smaller 'bump' on the base of his neck, closer to the skull on the opposite (left side) Lets hope this one dissappears.

The sweating is the same, I dont know that he can exercise this much without sweating. He also asked me if we can get a support for his knee because due to all the running he is doing on the pavement for gym, his knee has been hurting him a little.. We have not gotten the brace yet.

Mentally he is doing ok, no problems that I can see, he seems very content with his life, school, social life and sports.
If there is any other questions I should answer, please let me know.
thank you so much again,
Marika

Hi Sameer,
I am adding another note to the previous post from today. Last night (Monday he slept for almost 11 hours, and today again after school I just checked him again and ge is asleep.)
Maybe he is going through a growth spurt? Should I be giving him vitamins and minerals? He does have long days + all the exercise he is doing.
I will welcome any suggestions from you, thank you.

Marika last decade
Hi Marika,

If he is having a very balanced diet, it's not necessary for him to take multi-vitamins. But giving him multi-vitamins, 2 times a week wouldn't hurt either. Be careful to chose one which does not have an overdose of vitamins (not above daily requirements.

You can give him 2 more doses in the same manner.

Also, it would be good to procure LM3.

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
ok, I will get a decent brand of a multivitamin, and give him one a day., maybe except the weekends.
And, I will give him the next LM2 dose tonight.
thank you

Hello Sameer,
I was going to post tomorrow to let you know that I have the Calcarea LM3 now, finally, but tonight something has happened that I need to report.
My son had his grading for black belt, and, right at the end he was being examined on how he applies his knowledge, by showing to the teachers application formations. to make the long story short, another sensei had to put him in a head block and my son had to get out of it. Well, the other teacher was squeezing his neck too tight,(which he was not supposed to be doing), my son did not know how to get out of this, and as he later described he was seeing stars so he tapped his hand on the floor so the other guy could let go.
He started hyperventilating right away, could not stop, it took about 15 minutes of that and I took him to emergency, the doctor said that he'has been severely physically and emotionally traumatized' and he should not allow this done to him again in the classroom.

He wants me to watch for dizziness or nausea and we are supposed to go back to the hospital if any of those sypmtoms occur. He seemed to be fine when he went to bed but he was silent because I could tell and the doctor told him that he need not worry about protecting the teachers at the dojo, he needs to protect himself first. The truth is, he was supposed to show how he would get out of this head block but he did not expect the other guy to be squeezing him, and when he could not breathe he panicked. His hands and face were tingling and he was dizzy when he would stand up.
When he went to bed a little while ago he seemed ok, but I will stay up to make sure.

I do not see any marked physical symptoms but there was the attitude of: well, if I seem really sick, they might get in trouble at the dojo. And, I am heeding the doctor' comments about the trauma that he just experienced.
When we got home, he said to me 'I am sorry about the trouble', again he did not think about himself much in this case, and when we were in emergency he told me 'I hate getting attention' (at the dojo)

This is what happened and I dont know if I should do anything or just wait and see.
Thank you for reading this,
Marika

Hello Sameer,
i am writing to say that my son is ok from the injure incident, today he has a bit of a cold, sore throat and runny nose, I am wondering if it is time to perhaps give him the LM3 dose now?
Please let me know if you get the time,
thank you, Marika

Hello Sameer,
I had reported on something on Dec. 8, but dont think you saw it because I did not receive an answer, On Dec. 10th I gave my son one dose of LM3, the cold has pretty well cleared up there is still a bit of coughing but it is not anything to worry about.
I need to tell you about something I noticed a couple of days ago. On the back of his scalp, right at the base where the scalp bone is, he has a little hard chick pea size little ball, he says it has been there forever but I used to wash his hair as a child and dont remember seeing it there. I am wondering if his body makes these little lumps or does it push them out from deeper, I dont know what to think about it-the little lump behind his ear is quite smaller and softer too, that is a relief of course to see that getting smaller.

Mentally he is doing ok, he is very pleasant, his sister has come back and they have had a couple of arguments, I see that he is not one to be pushed around any more, he feels strong and confident, it is very great to see, and his thinking is quite sensible, I see that when he describes incidents that happen in school with other kids, he often comments on immature behaviour. He is doing well. And thank you for this, of course, I know how much these remedies have helped him over the last couple of years.
If there is any questions, please ask me,
thank you,
Marika

You can give another dose of LM3 but give the Helios LM3 bottle 8 hits before making the dose.
