We are in USA and I have a 4 year old son who is going to a special school for learning disabilities. Here are his symptoms

- His language skills are very low when compared to children of his age.

- He loves music, very good in numbers and reading books

- hates when he hears laughter + applause in TV.

- For the most part he will not answer unless he really want to

- never asks any questions like other kids.

- He is also not comfortable playing with other kids and prefers to play/stay alone.

- He is skinny and craves Pizza/donuts/sweet items.

- he closes his ears and hums if he encounters anything that he is afraid of.

- He grinds his teeth during sleep

- Not a sound sleeper

I reading confusing remedies about Baryta Carb and Calc Carb.

Can anyone suggest a good remedy that I could try on ?

Thanks for your help

Hello sir, I have one more question. I forgot to mention a couple of symptoms last time

- he is always biting his nails

- he is constipated and has a bowel movement only once in 2 or 3 days

Does he need a seperate medication for the above ?

Also is there any restrictions when he takes these medications ?

Thanks again for your help.

Dear Akshaymohl,

I have started my son on Kali Phos dry dose 30X and I just received the Baryta carb.

Should I give him the dry dose or the wet dose. I read in this forum that the wet dose is more effective way of taking the medicines.

Also can you please suggest how to deal with the constipation and constant nail biting my son has .

Thanks for your help and time

Dear sir,

Here is the updates from my side.

He has stopped his teeth grinding

I observed that some of his old habits are coming back to him like

- He used to turn the clock back so that no one can see the time
- he used to beat us when he gets agitated

But they are very mild when compared to his previous eposides.

He is currently on Baryta 6C twice and Kali Phos 6 three times a day.

Thanks for your help.

Dear Sir,

Here are the updates from my side again:

Currently he is on
Kali Phos 6X - 3 times a day
Baryta Carb 30C- 1 time a day

Here are the observations

- He is becoming very talkative and asking a lot of questions like ' are you happy', 'what is this' etc (definite improvement from past)

- His overall temper tantrums has decreased

- His routines like eating and sleeping are more methodical

- He is willing to try new things (eg) he started eating a variety of veggies now. earlier he used to eat only potato and will resist anything else that we try

- occasionally he is still grinding his teeth but not as bad as it used to be before

- certain his old habits has not gone away like:
1) turning the clock back so that no one could see time
2) biting nails
3) does not like when he hears audience laugh/clap in TV

- His school teacher says his social skills are still not that good and he is not seeking out other child to play and engage

- When he needs something, he just keeps repeating that 'I need this' but does not try to get our attention (like) grabbing our hands and asking for it.

Please let us know the future course of action.

Thanks a lot for your time and help

Sir,

I have started walnut as per your suggestion. We are observing that his habits have taken a turn for worse after starting walnut.

He has regressed quite visibly in a lot of areas like

- not answering questions like he used to
- constant nail biting
- closing his ears and humming to drown out external noise
- his anxiety level has gone way up
- has become very irritable

Are these the expected symptoms from starting walnut ?

I'm currently giving him 2 drops diluted in a cup of water. What is the dosage that I should give him ?

Anxiously waiting for your reply.

Thanks

Hi parthasas,
I know this is an old thread but it would be great if you could share how the treatments worked for your kid. Did he start talking better after the dosage? I have a nephew with exactly the same symptoms. Would be great if you could share your experience.

Hi Manonathan,

Remedies are individualized for everyone, even if you
think symptoms are generally the same, a homeopath
will have to tailor prescriptions based on many things.

These cases usually take quite a bit of time. I wanted to
suggest to you to check out the site of Amy Lansky, a
homeopath and author of 'the impossible cure' who had
a child with autism. She has a site where parents evaluate
and suggest homeopaths in the USA that have actually
had success with their child.

Your child probably requires Sulphur. If you decide to use it then please remember :
1.use one dose only Sulphur 200 in the morning.
2 you have to give about 15 days for the remedy to work.
3. No other medicine can be used while is working.
4Sour food and drinks are prohibited. They antidote sulphur.

Manothan,

Before trying any remedy for this - someone has to take
the case of the person --in detail.

You cannot just make a guess at it - and expect things to get
better, things could actually be worse because the remedy
really does not match bc the case was not Studied.

I am sorry. I am new to this forum. Do I just write a new post with my nephew's symptoms and expect someone to advise?
Please let me know.

Hi-

Are the parents willing to have you monitor, and give medicines?

If so, you need your own thread and you can go on the forum.
look above the first post and click Post New topic -

When you do this, I would suggest putting Rishimba in the headline
as he has done these cases.
