chronic nasal obstruction with sinus pain

Hi
I am 59, pleasantly plump woman who has had a blocked nose for the last three months. I have suffered with this before but it is worse since I moved to this area.

My nasal passages are completely blocked but it is worse on the left, with a pulsating throbbing pain around the left eye socket. This attack started with a cold and is worse at night with a thick nasal drip that gets stuck in the throat and makes me feel like vomiting when i cough, so I'm not sleeping much. My left eye waters.

Generally I hate the cold, don't like cold food or drinks or critisism. I am under presssure of essays, and have a recent dislike of fish, although it may be because I can't taste it!

I have always had summer hayfever. I am energetic and enthusiastic rarely have low mood. My constitutional remedy used to be phosphorus. I used to be an actress and play the sax.

A peculiarity -not at the moment but usually when I pass a motion my eyes water.

I would be so grateful for any ideas as i am getting really fed up of feeling like this. I did 2 years training in classical homeopathy but due to family circs didn't compete the last year, but have always found it effective.

many thanks in anticipation.

How was the effect of Phosphorus on these complaints?
