bad pain in surgery sight

My 70 year old husband had leg bypass surgery 2 months ago. No complications. Has a scar from his ankle to just above the groin.. He has been on Percocet since the surgery, but Dr. won't renew the prescription. We know it's addictive. He says its the only thing that takes the pain away. On a scale of 1-10, he says it's about a 6.
Is there anything homeopathic he can take? I have given him Arnica, and a few other things which don't work.
Thanks so much.

I too agree with dr. rajendra. and first preference should be staph.30 ( 3 drops per dose ) thrice a day.

I aked for the colour of the skin (Scar) to decide the remedy. Patient can answer.

The places that the scar hurts are dark purplish red. The rest of the scar is hardly visible.
Also it is swollen in those areas, plus swollen slightly from the ankle down.

before I order the remedies, I would like to order at the same time: when my husband lived in India, he took influenzine(sp?) when he felt flu coming on. Knocked it right out. We took it here in US too.Great! My friend is traveling to Ecuador in June and is afraid of Swine Flu. Can she take the same thing-and what dosages?
Thanks so much.
