When the kidneys start malfunctioning there is marked reduction in Glomerular Filtration Rate(GMR) to less than 25% of normal.
Creatinine clearance is less than 30 ml/min and may be as low as 5 ml/min.
Therefore creatinine level in the blood rises which is called as serum creatinine.
Serum creatinine can be regularised only after dialysis if there is renal failure.
Regularity in practice of breathing exercises has helped many people to improve their renal function.
