Oral Thrush

Dear Doctor,

My homeopath doctor has prescribed Kalium Bichromicum 200ch for my 4 year old daughter who has oral thrush after a viral illness. (she has one small white speck on her palate and another one on her cheek). During the viral illness she was given medicines like 'Pustilla', 'Antimonium Tartaricum', 'Belladonna' and 'Rhus Toxichodendron'. During that time she had high fever (upto 103F) and cough, running nose with yellow discharge. The thrush started on the 4th day of illness. Once she completed Rhus Toxichodendron for 7 days the doctor prescribed Kalium Bichromicum and said that this will help with the thrush. But when i search in your site, for thrush, i am getting 'Kali Muriaticum' as a remedy. Does 'Kalium Bichromicum' also help clear thrush.

Awaiting your valuable opinion.
Thanks, Jaya

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes one course, Kali Mur is better choice. However, as you are under treatment of a homoeo physician therefore, his advice would be preferred. You can talk with him about K.M.
