eye injury

My daughter scratched my husband in the eye this morning.

First symptoms were pain (stinging, stitching), blurred vision. The eyeball appears to be scratched.

It felt better during and after a shower.

I did a quick check on the Remedy Finder and found that pulsitilla was the remedy to give him. We only have 6x and the first dose seemed to help him. He took a second dose about two hours later and he says that it feels worse.

Now it is red and he says that he wants to scratch it etc. Feels like something is in it. He said that he was pulling stuff out that looks like black fuzz which could have been from our daughter's shirt (???)

He is unlikely to get it checked out by anybody, so any suggestions will be helpful.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You can also try-

Rx

**** Symphytum 30
2-0-2 pills everyday.

**** Arnica 30
2-0-2 pill everyday.

Good Luck.

Thanks for responding. What does 2-0-2 mean?

STAPHYSAGRIA is for a scratched or cut eyeball.

EUPHRASIA is for irritation or light sensitive.

You could give one dose of S. and 12 hours later the E and repeat daily for 3 days. (mornings and night before bed)

Use clear water to rinse. Bottled, not tap. Try not to use over counter stuff.

If too painful in spite of S. dosage, set up the S. for 3 times a day. E. once.

Hi Sabra,

Thanks for the suggestions. My husband took a dose of the staphysagria. He said that it didn't help. I suggested to take another dose now that it has been 4 hours. He isn't going to.

I am wondering how much of the success of homeopathy has to do with belief, etc. My husband isn't someone who gets sick often and doesn't seem to be someone who wants to be sick. But an interesting thing happened last night that is making me think that, for some reason psychologically he "needs" this eye problem.

He's been reluctant to take any homeopathics and I offered to do Reiki on him and he refused that but finally agreed at the end of the day. While I was giving him the Reiki treatment, I felt the energy bouncing back to me. Is this possible, do you think, if he is not believing or not wanting to feel better? It is very different from any other time I have used Reiki, where the energy is being pulled from me. I know that he doesn't totally believe in Reiki, but he does believe the homeopathics have helped our son.

I feel it is a bit dangerous thinking to start saying that he isn't believing, etc, because then it is like saying he is causing his problem, and I am not totally comfortable with that line of thinking when it comes to health. But I do think that thinking affects health, so there is some truth to it.

Anyway, just wondering what other people have to say about belief, attitude and illness/pain.

People have said every possible thing that could be said to debunk homeopathy and put it into a belief system. Been going on for 200 years.

Before that, women that knew which plants to use to heal were looked upon as witches and the clergy were the only ones "safe" to listen to.

The clergy used to corner the "witches" and use a needle to test them (of course, the woman had to be striped naked to do this). If they bled they were witches and burned. Great entertainment.

They could have been treating the village for years and if one died, she would be killed. NO Jewish person was ever allowed to be a doctor. If found out, they were killed. Everything was superstition, no brains in gear yet.

This is why the black plague went through Europe, they were afraid of cats and got rid of them all. So the rats with the plague fleas just ran amuck.

Soooo, If someone does not believe homeopathy heals, one suggests that if the animals and small babies that have no idea of medicine (of any sort) get well with the chosen remedy, it cannot be a placebo.

We know a lot of scientific information about homeopathy, and yet still cannot prove how it heals to satisfy anyone.

Our society has been brought up that the MDieties cannot be questioned and know everything and are untouchable. We are tought we are too stupid to make decisions about ourselves. We have had common sense bred out of us. Most have become afraid of any illness.

No one remembers that barely 100 years ago 80% of the population took care of themselves in many ways. The reason we use Sulphur is that someone burned gunpowder in a tent so that the sick person could breathe the air "containing Sulphur" and many got well with this treatment. No one knew about the Sulphur, only that gunpowder worked. Knowledge came later.

Some men are strange about homeopathy as they are so intent of "someone else doing it" that is is hard to understand, but you must to keep the peace. It gets better as one goes along.

After all, if he lets you be you, he must have the same consideration. If men foolishly interfere in just everything, one may have to do something then. My husband learned to not interfere with me. But, it turned out well.

Blessings, Sabra
