Nasal Polyps
Dear Doctor,Please note that i have been suffering from Nasal Polyps since last 2 years. I had once removed the polyps thru surgery. Now the same is started again. I had already taken Amon Carb200 & ARC ALB for 2 months but did not notice any improvement.
Recently i was told to take CALC CARB 200 & Thuja 200 once daily. As far as i know these are not supposed to take regularly. Please advice whether these medicines can be taken daily & does not have any side affect. Also suggest me if there is any other medicines to treate nasal polyps.

Yes no two homeopathic medicines are to be taken together .
Secondly once one medicine is taken , it should not be repeated till its impact is assessed .

Thank you very much for your reply. The medicine (ARC ALB & AMON CARB) i am taking is prescribed by a local doctor. When i told him that i am not noticing any changes, he changed the medicine. Could you please clarify whether the combination i am taking currently is not correct or the new one he prescribed. Also please let me know how & which medicine i should take at what frequency and how long to see the impact. The more details about my case is as under:
After suffering from mild cold & nose congestion for 2/3 months, It become difficult for me to breath in the night due to nose block. Through out the night I get disturbed sleep because I have to get up & clean my nose for breathing. This continued for another 1 / 2 months. After that I see the doctor & diagnosed as sinusitis with polyps. Doctor did the x-ray, CT scan to confirm the situation & suggested to operate the polyps to get rid of it. On 26-Apr-2007 I was operated. Since then, frequently I get infected inside my nose & start nose congestion. I take medicines & get few days relief. After 10/11 months again doctor told me the there are some recurring polyps. In the mean time I started wheezing in the night & diagnosed as attack of mild Asthama. I use to get some sound from my chest while breathing in & out but I was not running short of breath. Doctor prescribed a puff seretide Diskus 500(50microgm of Salmeterol & 500microgm of Fluticasone Propionate) & an anti allergic tablate Singulair-10mg (Montelukast Sodium) for few months. Initially I was taking the puff of 250microgm. The main problem I have now is the nasal secretion (mucus) in result most of the time my nose is blocked. Now most affected is my right nose Now a days the cold air (Direct A/C, Chilled Room, etc.) are affecting me more. If I come across this type of situation, immediate my both the nose get blocked. I never drink any cold drinks or eat any cold foods.

is there any nasal discharge also . yes, some time it is plain water but very sticky & some time it is thick. but most of the time the nose blocked with thick mucus. generally while sleeping the watery discharge comes from my right nose & it irritates me a lot. the main problem for me is the nasal mucus. it needs to be stoped to get the comfort in breathing.

Do u like to be alone away from the crowd .----- No but if the passage is narrow or like cave & lot of people are going inside together without any discipline, i get dizziness.
Why do u think u get dizzy when u walk into a heavy crowd . ----i feel suffocation if the place is closed like cave but in open air i do not feel anything if there is heavy crowd also.

Now a days i am noticing the lack of memory. Earlier my memory was so good, every body use to praise me in the office but now it is reduced almost 50/60%. Specially i forget the people,s face & name i meet first time.

I think the point you have summarised is ok. If i find some more i will let you know. For your information, now also i am staying near seashore.
One more point may help you is that, i have developed mild asthama after the polyps operation.

I use to suppress my anger a lot earlier but now i do not get much angry compare to earlier.
Currently i am taking the puff which was prescribed by doctor for six months.mMost of the time it is ok but some time i get noise from my chest , i do not know the reason.
Generally i do not get headache. But recently i have noticed, the night i get more disturbed,early in the morning i feel little heavyness on my forehead. It goes off after i get up & do my routine work.

Yes u can stop these medicines as 2 months is a long time , normally a homeopathic dose of 2 drops should be taken once only in a whole month ( believe it or not ) and u must have finished bottles of it .
Secondly as u are taking inhalers the homeopathic drugs get nullified because of that , once under homeopathic treatment normally such things should be avoided unless absolutely needed .
I have been thinking over your case but i have not so far been able to arrive at any conclusion .
Some more questions
Do u crave salty food , do u normally withold any unpleasnt things within yourself or u like to discuss them .
As u told cold weather or such exposures make u worse but what about heat and sun .
Would u call yourself mild and yielding .
Do u feel weepy .

Inhaler i have not stoped yet. If you suggest, i will stop & see what is happening. Actually doctor told me to take twice daily but after two months, i started taking once in the morning only. As far as i observed, when i was not taking the inhaler, i use to get coughing.Any way i will wait for your advice.

Ok now please buy 3 medicines Lycopodium 30 , Staphisagria 30 and Natrum mur 30 .
Please see that u buy in liquid form and the brand strictly should be Dr Reckeweg/Wilmar Schwabe ( German ) and no other .
When u buy them please inform , do not take them on your own as i shall tell u the dosing proceedure once u get them .

The brands that i have mentioned come in 10 ml to 15ml and cost around 100 to 150 rupees each .
Buy only these and more than diet control try to do
'Jal Neti' which is very easy and effective .
