tree nut allergy/ asthma in 4 yo

I have had luck on this forum before and was hoping someone could help with my most challenging child We have been treating him with traditional meds but he keeps having problems and requires numerous trips to the er for asthma each year

my son was born and right from the start suffered from eczema and a milk intolerance, as an infant he had numerous ear infections and he was treated with numerous antibiotics
when he was 18 mo we fed him peanut butter and his eye swelled shut a few hours later, we had him tested and he is allergic to peanuts, almonds and hazelnuts, he is so sensitive he cannot eat anything that is even manufactured near peanuts, he breaks out in hives which we treat with hydrocortisone topically or benadryl
when he was 2 1/ 2 he started having episodes of wheezing and coughing when sick with a respiratory infection he had pneumonia a number of times and was hospitalzied for the flu for a number of days
while in the hospital they discovered a small cyst on his diaphragm and he had surgery to remove the cyst when he was almost three, the doctors said it was a sequestration
we thought this would be the end of the illnesses but he has continued to get sick and require nebulizer treatments as well as oral steriods numerous times over the last 2 years
when he is feeling well he is a very outgoing, loving, sweet boy when he is sick it changes his whole attitude
he was treated with tuberculinum(sp??) a few times but it only works for a short while before he gets a respiratory infection
lately he has been breaking out in hives on is neck/ hands and face even when not exposed to nuts i suspect he also may have seasonal allergies
there are alot more details that i will share if anyone thinks they can help
sorry so long and runon but my period button does not work
thank you in advance for you time and advice

Okay, then it seems you have Phosphorus element running very strongly in your family.

Three doses of PHOSPHORUS 30c to be given for ONE single day ONLY as described below.

Dissolve 2 pellets of Phos 30c in a 250 ml spring water bottle. If leave the pellets in water for 20 mins, they will melt. You can shake it gently after they have dissolved.

Take a teaspoon from this bottle using a disposable spoon 3 times, spaced by 30 minutes. This is to be done for one day ONLY.

Let me know in 7 days after these 3 doses. I look forward to your response.

Restrictions:

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell on the day and 3 days following the remedy administration. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

The case you describe is almost very similar to mine (though your child's allergies are more severe than my childs)

I wish you luck. When I first repertorized, I too concluded on phosphorous, but it just did not work.

So I'd be interested in seeing this progress. I'd also recommend you buy 'the homeopathic treatment of children' by Herscu (http://www.amazon.com/Homeopathic-Treatment-Children-Pediatr.... read it.

You'd find a lot of differences between typical materia medicas and the traits in this book, which prescribers here may potentially overlook. Always good to also read on your own.

In my case, actually, with the help of another gifted prescriber here in the forum,a few days ago, I correctly identified sulphur as the right remedy, and that too, it only started working in LM doses, not in C (I would never have figured that out on my own). Interestingly, there are HUGE similarities between Phos and Sulph that was not evident to me while reading regular MMs.

Again, best of luck. I will also iterate that the very best way you can proceed is to find a local homeopath who is good and can 'personally see' the patient, if at all that is an option with you.
