Cleaning ears causes cough,

Hello -
if I put a Q-tip into my ear
to clean it, I get an intense
itching at the back of my throat
which makes me cough.

Is this a normal reaction, or
something that might be useful
in finding a remedy?

In general, I am susceptible to a dry, ticklish cough. It
persists until the throat
becomes raw and sore.
I'm tired of taking
Robitussen DM to numb it.
There is some yellow phlegm
that is extremely hard to
expectorate.
I'm looking at Rumex, but
haven't tried it yet.
Thanks for any advice.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
please take three doses of phosphorus 30c on a single day at a gap of 4 hours. Please don't take the doses daily. Please report after 10 days.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you,
I can report that there was some measure of success with the Phosphorous.

I'm over that now and have not had a re-occurrence.

I've got some chronic issues I'm researching. Do you think it's possible to find
the remedy myself. I've got
some issues going back perhaps 5 years, and some recent ones
appearing a year ago and perhaps again at 6 months,
something else.

What do you think?
