Recurring stye problem

Hi, I have 3 year old daughter who is suffering from recurring sties from last 2 years. Did lot of treatment but nothing seems to work. I believe in homeopathic as I am originally from India. I am tired of doing hot swaps everyday, used antibiotic as prescribed by doctor, but nothing is working. Sties are like permanently glued on her eyes. She is not allergic to any medicine, she is a healthy 3 year old toddler. Up to date on her immunizations. I would greatly appreciate if you can help me.

1.I have tried antibiotic prescribed by the doctor, but for now I am not using anything besides hot compressors. She has 2 sties on her left eye. One on the upper lid and one on the lower lid, both in the same outside corner of the eye.
-The lower lid stye was infected before 8 weeks, pus and everything came out, but there is still bump.
-The one on the upper lid has showing from last 2 days, it looks red and might be on it's way to get more infected.
-she has one bump on her right upper eye lid.
-I am using baby shampoo to wash her and also using baby lotion.
-from last 2 weeks I have started using regular adult antibiotic body wash, to wash her face.

2. She does not have any other medical history.

3. After reading few posts on this website, and doing self diagnosis I have ordered Pulsatilla Nigricans with the lowest dose. (Medicine has not arrived yet)

4. Is that medicine okay for a 3 year old.

5. If that's okay, than what dose should I give her.

6. If that's not the correct medicine, than please let me know what are your suggestions.

Thank you, very much in advance if you have any advice or any suggestions for her. I am really tensed for my little girl.

pulsatilla may work well on sty.

please order for pulsatilla 200c and give 3 doses each after 12 hours.

then wait for some 10 days and note the changes.

Thank you for your response, but I do have some more questions:-

1. I got Pulsatilla Nigricans in 6C, I gave it as per the dose recommended on it, as I was too late to change my order to 200C, as per your recommendation.

2. Is that dose ok, or I need to order in 200C.

3. Is there any other recommendations for the permanent solution of the stye. Any medicine that I can give everyday.

Thank you for your help and support. I look forward for your reply.

you can try with 6c but i feel this is too low a potency for removing the tendency of sties permanently.

you need to give her this potency three times a days for many days in order to see the effect.

200c potency would require only a few doses to set in the reaction.

Hi I have the same problem. I get styes but only one every 3-4 months. I use red rasberry leaf tea. Just use some droplets and put in eye 3/4 times a day and also do the hot compress. This helps the process alot faster than antibiotics

by the way I am indian to :)

Where do you get this tea from? Can I get it from regular grocery store? How do you put drops? Do you boil the tea before using it?

Thanks for your help, I hope it works.

I get the tea from a natural food store. It is around $8 for the box, but last a very long time. I get the droplets from Walmart they come in a package of 2 for $2, you can find this in the eye section, near the stye medicines and contact solution. Yes I just boil a cup of water and ad some of the red rasberry leaves and stir with a spoon. Then I strain the tea. Wait until it cools down enough to put in the eye. Make sure you test it on your skin... it might be to hot for your child. Take the droplets and squeeze some into the glass portion, then just squeeze couple of droplets in the eye and and keep it close for a minute or 2. Repeat 3 or 4 times a day. Hope this helps.

kdm123:

Does your daughter like cold weather, drinks, etc?

Does she cover her self while sleeping?

Thank you so much Ramin2. I am going to look for the tea in some natural store.

Yes she likes cold weather as well as drinks, but she does not cover herself while she sleeps.

Is she gentle and mild or aggressive?

Is she clingy?

Does she often ask to be carried?

srisri last decade
Most of the time she is mild, but I think she is short tempered though. She is very clingy, and asks often to be carried, but not for very long.

She might be benefitted by Puls. Please follow Rishi's advise.

I have suffered from recurrent styes and I was finally able to cure it with homeopathy. I also made changes to my lifestyle and adapted healthy food habits. I have shared my experiences on my website

Hope it helps.
